Merry Morning!! I hope everyone had a great weekend and all is well with everyone. We had a busy couple of days. We drove down to the seaside on Saturday for the day. The weather has been glorious but it is about to change. I am so glad to have had a few days of dry, warm and sunny!

Long , hectic day at work yesterday. Today I need to catch up with some laundry and then some work.

Mom got her results & found out that she has a tear in her Meniscal cartilage, and they are recommending an Arthroscopy. She another appointment this week with an Orthopedic Surgeon, and will go from there.
Not exactly what she wanted to hear, but at least now she knows what she's dealing with, and will hopefully have options laid out for her after meeting with the surgeon

I don't really know much abut it but it sounds quite painful. I hope it will be helpful to know the specific problem so they can work on a treatment plan that will work. Continued prayers for your mum.

I am always impressed when I read your posts on weather because you get such a good indication of what to expect.

Ours made me laugh this morning ......

It's basically a tear in the cartilage in her left knee, and they are recommending surgery. She's hoping there will be other options, but this may be it. She's still in a lot of pain, and has trouble getting around. Mom is such an active person, that it will probably be necessary for her

Surgery is always a scary thing, but as you say it might be necessary. Awwww she must be so nervous. ((hugs))

Thanks, girl!

As with any surgery, I'm sure she is. But, she's a retired nurse, so she knows a little more of what to expect <3

I think she's more nervous about not healing well, because she is still so active. I call her my social butterfly, with all of the leagues she's involved with! Golf, tennis, quilting, nursing group, card club, church, etc.!! cheesy

Thanks Snow. It's at the point now where I'm just staying up. I'd have to get up in 45 minutes anyway...do more harm than good to fall asleep now.
