Big day here in Indy. We should find out here in a half hour or so if our bid to host the Super Bowl in 2018 will be accepted. We have hometown boy Josh Kaufman vying for the win on the Voice tonight and Pacers play the Heat in game 2 of the eastern conference championships downtown tonight. Not to mention all of the celebrations surrounding the Indy 500.

Exciting!!

Well Minnesota beat us out for the super bowl thanks to the brand new stadium they are building. Now they just better hope that there isn't a blizzard that keeps everyone from getting to it!!!

I love the sound of ducks quacking ~ I hear geese honking in my area because of all the ponds. There is one pair of ducks that hang out here, but only for a few days and then they fly off.

I forgot to ask Xmas to share how the turkey worked out in this recipe, Snowflake, so thanks for asking him that! I think I will try it with ground pork and maybe even ground Italian sausage! I have a good feeling about this recipe! I will let y'all know how it turns out.

The ground turkey was excellent, I was unable to find turkey broth, but used chicken broth instead. VERY tasty, my wife was impressed with it. She wants this as part of regular rotation of dinner foods.
