On my break at work, feet hurt, crazy busy. The day is going by very fast. There are ribs cooking in the crock pot so house should smell great when I get home

As you can see it is another dull grey day here . The weekend is supposed to be hot !
Gotta go back to work !

Awwwww I can certainly understand that!! (((big hugs))) . You will feel so many emotions. Will she be living there, is the college far from you?

I am already feeling sad about my little one starting nursery (kindergarten) next year LOL what will I do with myself LOL!

She will be living in the dorms, it's about 4 hours away.
I actually had a really hard time when each of mine started kindergarten, it's a big milestone!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to another beautiful day here with a high in the mid 70's. I've been busy doing my chores this morning so I can get out and enjoy it this afternoon. Then this evening I think I'm going to head out for dinner instead of cooking. Mainly because nothing I have sounds good to me. I'll be back to catch up here in a bit. Merry Morning!!! Happy Friday!! Another week over and another week closer to the season.....lifts my spirits just to think.

I am having a cup of Earl Grey tea that I got from the Tea Shop. It is so fragrant, probably the best I have had! I needed it this morning! Yesterday I emailed a query to a retailer only to receive such a rude response waiting in my inbox this morning!! Anyway, I won't waste any more of my time over that!

It is so cold and rainy here and will continue to be over the weekend. I hope you all have a nice weekend planned. Have a good end to the week everybody!

Although I believe that such people should not be working with customers at all, some of them are rude anyway. Very good perception of not wasting your energy on them. :]

Your cup of tea sounds lovely. I have been drinking a lot more tea lately, and I've really been enjoying it. I still haven't given up my morning cup of coffee though!

Good evening,

Just read through the posts pretty quickly, I am trying to get to sleep earlier than I have the last few nights.


We did it!!!! We bought a new car!!!! We agreed to a deal last night while we were at JP's baseball game, the payment is higher than we were anticipating but we still got a heck of a deal, and our interest rate is a lot lower than we were anticipating.
We are glad this whole ordeal is past us, and we picked it up earlier tonight.
It is a 2014 Chevy Spark, we went with new because of the lower interest rate and warranty, the used all had higher mileage, and we were leery of financing for a certain number of years and having it poop out on us before the term was over.
So after all the test drives we went for the little zippy car.
We test drove and looked at:
Chevy Sonic Hatchback
Chevy Cruze
Honda Civic
Saab 9-3 (I really liked that one, but the mileage was very high)
Nissan Xterra
a few more too, I just can't remember.
Here it is: (the black one)

Just so very happy this is done. It has been weighing on us since February.
Thank you all for the words of encouragement throughout the whole process, some days it really helped when things looked so bleak.

Today would have been my mother's 60th birthday, so it has been a little bittersweet in that regard. I miss her dearly.

Morning will be here too quickly.
