Hello all. Well, we went o the cowboy festival today and had a great time! We rode in a wagon and the kids loved it. They made some crafts, and I sampled some great chuck wagon cooking! It was at the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and a Western a Heritage Museum, I got to see some of John Wayne's guns and clothes actually worn in his movies, and some great art! I was happy.

Swimming for the Lil Bambina, yard work, BBQ nachos, cleaning cars and garage means I'm one tired dude.

About to go watch a little TV. Tomorrow morning I plan on spending time in my Christmas notebook. It's time to look for some new recipes. Any sites that y'all suggest?

Sounds like you guys had a fun day yesterday! I bet you were tired by the end of the day though!

As for the recipes though, I do enjoy Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Allrecipes.com, but the site I enjoy the most is Pinterest. You can follow all of these here and find all other types of food bloggers to follow, plus Christmas, things like gardening, handy things, whatever you can think of. I love it!

You know, maybe by setting up your camera or (wildlife camera) to catch them in the act and then if a government figure needs to become involved later on, a picture/ movie clip is worth a thousand words..... It will remove the your word against theirs scenario, because they already have disregarded your words once already~

I built the deck around a pecan tree, and I thought of putting the camera in that tree facing down. you're right; it's a safe bet that if the parents let these girls run so wild, they'll deny my claim without a picture.

That's crazy! And how old are these girls? Aren't their parents worried they'll drown being in a pool without any adults?

They seem to be from around 12 to 14, and, no, their parents don't seem too concerned about their safety at all, judging from the way they let them drive their golf cart.

It may be time to break out the Whirly-Pop and make some popcorn!

I read an article that said the old Whirly-Pop popcorn maker is one of the best home coffee bean roasters you can get. I've been thinking of trying my hand at roasting my own beans, just for the fun of it.

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

What a tiring day it was yesterday! I pulled my loaded trailer to the landfill yesterday morning. It took my more than 30 minutes, since I could only go 30 MPH. When I got there, I found a locked gate and a note saying it was closed the whole weekend for Memorial Day. I was off to a bad start. So, I took all the junk back home and started working in the yard. Then I had to go put up a sign, then back to work in the yard again. Finally, I jumped in the pool with Nancy & Elizabeth till dark. After that, I picked up some Chinese food, and fell out on the couch.

I'm ashamed to say we slept too late to go to church, so we'll have to do a devotional before taking Elizabeth to play practice.
