Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good morning!
I am exhausted today, I was up most of the night with Molly. I'm not sure what was wrong with her. She was panting throughout the night, she kept getting up for water and to go outside. The room wasn't hot, we had the air conditioner running and I also had a little fan blowing on her. She's due for a vet appointment so I'm going to call when they open and see if I can get her in today. Other than that it will be a typical day for me. I need to work on some chores and catch up with the laundry, I didn't get much done yesterday since I had the barbecue. I also need to run to the supermarket, I have a list of things that we need. I am so sick of that place, lol. If I'm lucky I would like to squeeze a nap in but I'm not sure if that will happen.

I will keep Molly in my thoughts.

Glad you all had a good BBQ yesterday! Hope you can catch up on some rest , sounds like you need it! Praying for Maggie, poor girl. I hope you can see the vet today. I wonder what is wrong , I am sure you are worried.

How old is Molly now? Hope the vet can clear this up for her.

Days to the Season: 170
Days to Christmas Day: 212

And surprise.
We are just 12 days away from the 200-day marker to Christmas!
(Dangerously close to SINGLE DIGITS.)
Not only that, but we will then enter a double100's level count sequence.

Wow!
Too much to take in for my first day back.


Instead, I'll consider the weather.
Again, we had moderate temps and no rain for our coastal visit.
Got most of the work completed for the rental season but will take one more trip back a week from Friday.
For now, we are at 69 degrees here in central NC with a pretty fair chance at some rain today and for the following two.


Thanks again to our shining 'Star for an impromptu extention of countdown duties!
(Don't we have fantastic members always ready to step up to the plate?)

I head to to work in an hour, just doing my usual relaxing before being thrown into the fire.
I felt like something Christmassy, so I am watching "My Crazy Christmas Obsession part 2," I would rather watch a movie but not enough time this morning.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I've never been so happy to come back to work. Nancy has been working me like a dog! After I trimmed all the shrubs Saturday afternoon, yesterday morning I rented a pressure washer...and ran it for 10 hours straight. I washed the house, the walk up to the house, the carport floor, the shop building, the pool deck, and the golf cart! I still groan every time I stand up from my desk. I ain't used to working that hard!

And she says she's not finished with me yet. Yikes! :sad:

Har got sick yesterday, was wondering if it was because of the heat & high humidity...and Harlowe & I were up most of the night, too, because of thunder My point is, maybe the weather got to her?

60's (15C) is warm for us. We get the odd few days where it might reach 80 (20C)and that is considered a heat wave here ! LOL! (Hope my conversion is right)

Hope you all had a great holdiday weekend!

I had Fri off as well so it was nice to have that extra day. Back to work today and here in CT it is a nice 80 degrees for now anyway tommorrow is supposed to be 65.

Pretty quiet week planned...my daughter has softball games today, tomororw and Thursday. We are supposed to get storms tonight so I would not mind if one was canceled tonight.

Hope you all have a great day my Christmas friends. I am looking forward to Christmas in July and the Hallmark movies. :yahoo:

Not sure, hope so- I had to leave so early. But she seemed to be holding her own, just sad & uneasy. Adi is away on business, and it is still storming too.
