It's going to be another HOT and SUNNY day here....
Its a Public Holiday today in Norway Ascension Day
Ascension Day is the 40th day of Easter
It occurs 39 days after Easter Sunday
It is a Christian holiday that commemorates Jesus Christ's ascension
into heaven according to Christian belief
So what happende here this night?

Good morning!
It is going to be partly sunny today with a high of around 60 degrees. Temperatures are in the upper 40's right now, feels a little bit chilly out there.
Not too much going on today. We will be heading upstate very early tomorrow morning for my daughters college orientation. I have a few things to do today to get ready for the trip. The dogs also have a groomer appointment this morning. Other than that I'll be working on daily chores.

I don't like to have them cut too short. I like when they're a little bit fluffy, like little teddy bears. They go every 4 weeks so it's easy to maintain.

I finally found time to get on here and say hi. No time to read as I have to head out again in a bit, but just thought I would stick my head in to see you all.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!
I left work early yesterday to go with Nancy and Jacob to his guitar lesson. While in that larger town, I had a broken pane of glass repaired at a glass shop, then we went to a golf cart service place and bought another battery for ours. I broke a post off of one of mine while changing the cables, so I needed another used battery to replace that one.
Anyway, when we got home, I went to work replacing the battery. But I found that the angle iron rack that holds the batteries under the seat had rusted too much and it broke. Now I have to take the cart to Jim's shop to re-build the rack.
If it ain't one thing, it's another. LOL

We got a bucket of takeout chicken from KFC yesterday. I've given up fried food, so we got a bucket of grilled chicken. Have y'all tried that? When they first offered it, I tried it but I didn't like it. I have to say, though, this was pretty good!
Maybe my taste buds have finally gotten used to living without deep fried foods, I don't know. cheesy

I like the KFC grilled chicken.
FWIW, I don't believe the regular KFC is actually fried. I don't know what method they use now, but I remember hearing that years ago they made it in pressure cookers. Look into that, maybe you won't have to give up KFC after all!

Afternoon everyone, How is your day so far. I guess it is only just starting for most of you. I am just having a cup of tea and a biscuit and waiting for some home shopping to be delivered. The dentist went well this morning, no work needed thank goodness!
It's been a hectic day so far , I really appreciate a little time to collect myself. Baby is having a nap and my other son is playing. Brrrr it's cold. While we were out I actually noticed two people wearing Christmas jumpers! For a moment I thought I'd walked through a time warp and Christmas was here.............

Happy Thursday morning. I've been away a long time. Time is going by too quickly. Can't believe the wife and I have been married 32 years today.
It has been a year of 'last time'. Our only child (Ethan) is finishing up his senior year of high school. His baseball career is now over. Senior day at our last home game was tough. He has played organized baseball since he was 5. We attended our final high school academic and sports banquets this week. The Baccalaureate service for seniors is at our church on June 4. He graduates high school June 6 and will give the closing prayer at graduation. I'm sure I will lose my manhood that day.
Move-in day at Gardner Webb University is August 15. We will begin a new chapter in our lives. Not sure I'm ready for it.
Enough of me pouting... Have a blessed day everyone.
