Thanks MerryCarey!

So sorry to hear this. We will be here for you.
Merry Morning!
How are you all doing? Things went ok at the hospital. The doctor that saw my son was very impatient with us as my son was scared at first. Usually a children's doctor will warm up to the child first and make them feel comfortable. She expected him to walk into an unknown room with a stranger and weird equipment and just cooperate! He is only 2!! Anyway we have to go back again in two months for a second screening.
On our way home, I decided to pop in to see my mother in law as we were in the area. That visit was hard work LOL! Within a few minutes she managed to make me feel bad about my parenting and myself. When she started bad mouthing Christmas, I really had to restrain myself. I did my best to smile and nod through out the visit but it's amazing how negativity can weigh you down.
So , it was a long day yesterday to say the least and I am trying my best today to just let go of it all !
Rant over LOL! Sorry I needed to let that out
Have a good day everyone!

Good morning everyone.
I'm trying to read the forums when I can. I hope everyone is well. Brad, I hope your hand is better! Getting stung sure hurts! A few years ago a wasp got me when we were having a church work day, cleaning up the church's property. Right in the shoulder. I may have said a word one should not say anywhere, but especially church!my wife still gives me a hard time about that one.
Good luck on your speech this weekend!
And I hope everyone else has a great day!
Good Morning, Friends of Christmas!
(And what can be more friendly than that?)
But perhaps you're not feeling particularly friendly this morning?
Maybe this will alter your mood in a positive direction:
Days to the Season: 163
Days to Christmas Day: 205
Five.
That's right.
FIVE.
More days until the 200-day Christmas Day Window.
Then.
A double-100's count, and just the start of the suggestion of time winding down.
(What a nice feeling!)
Well, let me tell you.
Sunday's weather was fantastic and I felt it just about couldn't get any better, but it DID yesterday. Possibly the nicest day in over a year.
The temp was in the low to mid 70's all day.
There was no rain or even the suggestion of it.
No humidity.
No wind above a gentle breeze.
The birds sang.
The dogs barked.
The children played.
I enjoyed the front porch.
AHHH!
We are at 60 degrees to begin what I can only hope will be a closely similar day.
Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everybody!
Good morning everyone!![]()
I haven't been on for ages. Shame on me. :/
The PC at home works unbelievably slowly (it desperately needs to be fixed) and I'm not that patient to wait for half an hour to get Internet browser open. ^^
Anyway, it's my fifth day at home and I got use to my routine here just now. I will try to pop in more often now. :]
I hope everyone is doing well.
Best wishes, and happy June!

I decided last night that I'm going to take off work for the rest of the week, sort of a mini-vacation. Tomorrow we are going to go to Hershey Park in Hershey, Pennsylvania and then on Thursday, drive up to Cedar Point amusement park, up in Sandusky, Ohio (never been there before) and stay there overnight till Friday.
Now, I must confess, I do not do rides (any more)....Not unless you want me to have my head shoved inside a bucket all day. Yup, I'm a hurler.... I used to get on roller coasters and the scrambler all the time, but ever since I have had 2 concussions in the past 10 years, I cannot do it no more, I get sick.... So, I'm the official pocketbook, sunglasses, hat holder....
That's Ok I'm just happy being there, happy watching all the sights, watching other people, playing games and of course, eating fried dough, Turkey legs - Yummmmmmm:munch:
And I also like to drive! So any how, I'm bugging out of here around noon and heading home for the week. I hope you all have a wonderful morning~

Good morning!
It is going to be a bit warmer today with temperatures in the upper 70's. We may get a shower/storm later this evening.
I am heading out soon to pick up a few things at the supermarket. Back home afterwards to work on my daily chores and get some laundry done. I already can't keep up with all of the towels the girls are using now that they're going in the pool and hot tub every day.
I also have to go to a mandatory prom meeting later this evening at the high school. I wish I could skip it, this is the third year in a row that I'll be going. It's the same information every year but they won't give out the permission slip for prom unless a parent attends the meeting.
And we also volunteered to bird sit for a friend while she goes away to Florida for a few days. She has two birds and will be dropping them off some time today. We actually use to own one of the birds, it's a beautiful Sun Conure parrot. A few years ago one of my husbands co-workers found the parrot in his backyard. He couldn't keep it because his dog was going crazy. I offered to take him in until we found the owner. Well we never found the owner. I put ads in newspapers, online and called tons of pet stores to see if anyone reported a missing parrot. I honestly think someone let him out on purpose. Anyway, we ended up keeping him for quite some time but it was stressful having him with the cats and dogs. A friend of ours had a pair of Lovebirds and when we heard that one of them died we asked her is she would be interested in taking the parrot from us. She decided to take him and it worked out beautifully, the birds love each other. My kids are excited to see him again. It's going to be a zoo in here for the next few days, between the cats, dogs & birds!
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!
Do not have to go into work today, so far, so I am going out to a friends place to pick rhubarb, then coming home to get it in the freezer and do some work around the house.
I like to open all the doors and windows in the morning and let the fresh air in. It will be hot and muggy again today and is 20c (68f) with a humidex of 27c (80f) already so going to close them soon and turn on the AC
Have a great day everyone!!!
Ok, trying this again. It let me post that short message last night & then I got kicked off "page unavailable" message!![]()
Weird! Ok, that worked!
I do have some sad news to report, we are going to have to say goodbye to Buster Wednesday morning. My hubby is taking him in. I can't hardly stand to think about it, but he is suffering now. He whines sometimes & he's having a hard time getting up from a laying position & he's hardly eating. I have been feeding him ham & dried beef the last several days, just to get him to eat something. The poor guy! It's time, but makes me !! He's lived a loooong life. (18+ years) I'll miss him & I think Gracie will be lost for awhile too, even though he totally ignores her! Sad day ahead...
Bless his heart. It's so sad to me that our beloved pets can't have a life span as long as ours. My Ben has been gone for two years now, and I still think of him every day.Weird! Ok, that worked!

I let Jeff know about the Security certificate issue because it has me stumped. I'll let you know what he has to say.
Thanks Made! At least I am able to post today!
I'm so sorry, Holiday. My prayers will be you guys. ((Hugs))

She is getting big!!!! She is adorable though!!!!
Good Morning, MMC!!!!! Today is supposed to be the hottest day of the week with a high around 87 degree's. Just a slight chance of storms today so maybe I will be able to get out there and enjoy the porch tonight if it's not to hot. Other than that, nothing exciting going on here. Just the same old things. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!
