This is the first time I met Yogi. He is so friendly. He just wants to be close to someone, a true love bird! Skittles makes me a little bit nervous. He's a parrot and he can bite very, very hard! He lived with us for quite some time so we've all been bit at some point. But we just have to be careful. He's a real character. He tries to talk, makes kissing sounds and laughs. He's too funny!

I am addicted to it, I have it for the Wii, the regular version for the Kindle, and the sports version on Kindle.

No one likes playing games like Trivial Pursuit with me, since they all call me Rain Man for my ability to remember useless facts.

We'll play you sometime! We're full of useless facts! I call it "Velcro brain." When I was little I loved to browse through the World Book Encyclopedia just for fun.

I hope your son is ok, Festive! I'm lucky that my in-laws are very easy-going and they seem to love me, too. But I know how you feel. My first wife's (not a good story) parents both disliked me, and made it plain. Not fun. Prayers and best wishes for you and your son.

That doggone hand still hurts, but the swelling has gone down almost to normal now, thanks for asking. I was proud of myself, though. I was able to morph the phrase that started from my mouth into something closer to...

Ouch , I hope your are on the mend. I have been stung in the eye in the past and I looked like some sort of alien creature from another planet for a few days!

Weird! Ok, that worked!

I do have some sad news to report, we are going to have to say goodbye to Buster Wednesday morning. My hubby is taking him in. I can't hardly stand to think about it, but he is suffering now. He whines sometimes & he's having a hard time getting up from a laying position & he's hardly eating. I have been feeding him ham & dried beef the last several days, just to get him to eat something. The poor guy! It's time, but makes me :sad:!! He's lived a loooong life. (18+ years) I'll miss him & I think Gracie will be lost for awhile too, even though he totally ignores her! Sad day ahead...

I am so sorry that the time has come to say goodbye to your beloved Buster. Sending prayers for courage and strength. Although difficult, it sounds like you are making the right decision. (((hugs)))
