I was getting ready to reply to a bunch of posts when the site went down. Yay to being back!

Nary a storm has formed here and it is cooling off quite nice. If a storm is going to happen I will probably sleep through it ~ was up until almost 4 am and had to be ready to go by 9:30 today so I am starting to drag a bit. It seems like it should be Thursday ~ that is how long this day has been. I finished making Kimchi today ~ boy is it ever spicy. It is loaded with garlic, ginger and garlic chili paste. Good, though! Still a lot to do so I had best get going.

Tried posting this shortly after 8 pm and it said the site is unavailable (second time for me today) ~ good thing I sticky noted my original post. Thank you Bradmac and MerryCarey for the idea!

Evening all! I was having issues loading the site. Kept asking me if I wanted to pay or something like that. Santa must have been watching and fixed it for me! My friend gave me something today....SNOW in a CAN! Just add water! LOVE IT! Just relaxing right now. Very muggy and stormy outside today. Still quite hot out. Have to install the a/c this weekend on the main floor. Our bedroom has an a/c so at least we can sleep easy. I am already wishing for fall/winter and snow. People at work think I'm nuts. All you do not! I have been recording some Christmas shows off tv!! Mrs Browns boys Christmas special was FUNNY. TLC was playing my Crazy Christmas obsession. That was awesome seeing everyone collecting Christmas stuff! BAck to my show!

Yeah, the whole site has been going crazy for the last 4 days.

The snow in a can is awesome!!!!! My sister bought some this past christmas for my niece's to play with and it was so cool!!!

Hope you can get the A/C installed this weekend!!! Stay cool!!!

Thanks, buddy. Slept much better, but thunder woke us up again at 3:00 am. I didn't realize that WI had four tornadoes the same day that Nebraska had theirs. I guess the last time Eau Claire had one touch down was 2011.

gave up trying to get back on here last night, happy to see things are up and running again this morning.

The storm here was not nearly as bad as predicted. We got lots of strong gusty winds and some rain. There was a small tornado in Angus Ontario, did some damage to one street there and that was the worst of it. This was from the same system that started in Nebraska.

Day off but am going to be plenty busy. I have a wedding cake this weekend, this is a very simple one so will not be a lot of work. Also want to get some cleaning done around here. Sister and hubby will be in town to pick up mom on Saturday so hoping we can go out for dinner or something.
