Good Morning, Everyone.

Well, we made it to SINGLE DIGITS to the Christmas Day half-way point yesterday.
Today, we find ourselves a day away from being just ONE WEEK off from that Major Marker.

Days to the Season: 148
Days to Christmas Day: 190

The heat and humidity are here in droves now. We could hit close to 100 for the next couple of days, as the South lets us know where we are.
Rain possible, too. (At least that cools things off, however temporarily.)
We have started off today at 74 degrees again, same as yesterday.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday and a Perfect 'Pines visit this evening!

Be sure to come to next week's open house, to officially ring in the new season.
Carl has "Summer Games" planned. (Olympic-style, CARL-style??)

Good morning,

Trying to post quickly, I see I haven't been the only one having issues. I finally caught up with the posts since Sunday night.
We had a heck of a storm blow through here around 230am last night, our backyard is in a shambles, the noises outside woke us all up, and I wasn't able to fall back to sleep until after 4. Sleep has been hard to come by the last few nights, even though I've been getting to bed earlier with no MMC. Work has sunk to a new low, I am so close to just giving my notice at this point, it is bothering me to the point I can't sleep without the storm going on.
I have to work tonight, if I can't get back on here, I hope you all have a good day.

The storm here was not nearly as bad as predicted. We got lots of strong gusty winds and some rain. There was a small tornado in Angus Ontario, did some damage to one street there and that was the worst of it. This was from the same system that started in Nebraska.

Day off but am going to be plenty busy. I have a wedding cake this weekend, this is a very simple one so will not be a lot of work. Also want to get some cleaning done around here. Sister and hubby will be in town to pick up mom on Saturday so hoping we can go out for dinner or something.

Have fun working on the cake!!!!

Just praying they stop for the overnight!
The humidity is outrageous =]
