Talk about a nasty storm!!! We had one hit us about 2 o'clock that just decided to stall out over us and dump the rain for about 45 minutes. The lighting and thunder were pretty bad too. It knocked out our power and apparently even the closest cell tower went down because I lost all signal on it. So I ended up not helping my neighbor because we needed lights to see what we were doing. I got a nice hour long nap in though after it stopped raining while waiting on the power to come back on.

That is nuts. Glad you stayed safe & got a nap in!!

Thanks, Buddy!!!! It was pretty crazy!! It's thundering and lighting our there again right now but it's just barely sprinkling this time. It looks like the worst of it is staying to the north of us but will hit my sister and aunt.

that would be the one that is on the way here, but I am hoping the lake calms it down before it arrives.

I hope it lost its bite before it entered your area! It ended up being a nice steady rain and the majority of the thunder was to the north of where I live. My garden and Shaggy both received a good soaking ~ silly dog loves laying out in all kinds of weather.

I have to run to store again because I forgot a few things, but that can wait until the cakes are baked.

Good afternoon, MMC!

Low humidity and low 70s means chilly day here in MI ~ love it! My gardens have sprung up nicely as have all the grass and weeds everywhere else. Looks like a lot of yard work this weekend. I was mistaken on the number of kittens that Lucy had. The number now stands at two black/chocolate tabbies and one grey tabby. They are adorable! She brought them up to the porch so that I will feed them.

Chores beckon so I will try to post again tomorrow.
