And nothing puts one in a more friendly mood each morning than a good piping hot serving of the morning count.

So......

Days to the Season: 135

Days to Christmas Day: 177



And suddenly we find ourselves UNDER two weeks off from our next Milestone -- number 11 on our chart -- the two-thirds marker the Season.

Single digits before you know it!

(Starting to close in on another one, Folks.)





A bit warmer again, but still no rain.

(Low mosquito count as a result!)

We begin this day before 'Pines Day at 74 degrees here in the capital city.

My grandchildren were over yesterday and I was in the kitchen cooking. I came into the den and there was a Christmas stocking hanging on the mantle! Santa came! Ha ha! My granddaughter put it there, it made me smile. We had been moving some boxes around and she saw it in there and took it out.

Later that day she was watching a cartoon and they were telling the audience to guess the design that was being made in the sky. You could see sparkly stars being formed and before they finished it she yells out, "Christmas Tree"! I have raised her right! It was not a Christmas Tree but some other design. Sure looks like it could have been a tree as it was being formed!

:busy::hi:So I have to ask, since we are getting ready to enter the CIJ time of year, and if I put out my 5' tall Santa Blowmold on my front porch and lit it up, will that be a little over the top for CIJ????

Not at all, there is a guy in town here who has put out 5 blowmolds, put lights on his roofline, and has a very large Christmas tree in his window. I am jealous, my brother in law drives by him and says he has seen the guy and he "looks normal" I told my bil that if my wife would let me do that I would. cheesy
I got to try to take a picture of that house.

That was the first thing I saw this morning when I turned on QVC, talk about a letdown. I turned on something else thinking they made a mistake.
I did comeback later and saw some Christmassy goodness though.

I saw cabbage patch dolls licking lolly pops

It will be a HOT one here today, nearly 90 and very humid, I am already sweating just sitting. cheesy

The boys are sleeping over a friends house, so wife and I have a date night, dinner and a movie and grocery shopping.

I am hoping to fit in a haircut at some point too, I am starting to look like Buzz from Home Alone.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a little bit nicer here today but it's still going to be hot. The cool down should start tomorrow though, thankfully. I have a few errands to run today and then I'll be back to watch QVC this evening with all of you. I saw a little bit of this morning's but not much. I'll catch up on here then too. It's a hot one in midtown Manhattan, I'm in the city today helping out a friend. I'm sweating just sitting here people-watching near the UN. If it was a little cooler and a little less humid it would be a perfect day. Can't wait to get back to the cooler New Jersey suburbs later and to the A/C!

Anyway, can't wait for the holiday weekend, should be a good one if this Tropical Storm stays out to sea.
