Mom's appointment went well. She is back in range and we get to go two weeks until she has to go back.

Was taking stuff out of van from BBQ yesterday and my son brings in a bag I have not seen before containing this

108 Christmas cards!
I asked some who were there and all I got was "Santa was here?" And "Christmas fairies?"
Either way, I love it!

Good Day everyone! Hope everyone had a safe and relaxing 4th of July yesterday!!!!:wink:

I wanted to share with you a couple of possible new additions to our family. We are in the middle of talking to the lady that owns them now and hopefully, in a couple of weeks, they will be my daughters....

Baby bunnies...... Cute little things aren't they!!!!!

They are Dwarf Hotos! Hopefully, they will be a part of the family around the beginning of August~

They are too cute xmastidings! Hope you get to take them home!!!

I hope all of you with upset pets have them all settled now that the fireworks are all done. Pocket was that way too, she would hide in the basement. Penny however would head for the nearest window to see what was going on.

The fireworks will be going on all weekend in my neighborhood! People aren't supposed to be lighting them off but they do anyway.

Hey! We had a nice Fourth!
The weather cooperated with no rain and lower temps and humidity.
Didn't get out to any fireworks around here but watched the TV programs.

"A Capital Fourth" was better than usual I felt, although there were still too may songs that had nothing to do with Independence Day.
(But then, I'm a purist.)

I'm a purist, too. I felt the same way about the Boston Pops concert. During the fireworks, we turned off the TV audio and played Sousa marches through the TV speaker. It's a tradition with us.

Thought I'd share my MIL's furkids, for all of us animal lovers!

This is Trissy, she has just 3 legs, but you would never know it. Such a love!!!

This is Targe (accent on the e!), he is an independent little guy, but still a doll.

Adorable! I love seeing the fur babies!

We don't have pets (largely because of our work schedules), but on our visit to Gloria I enjoyed spending time with her two cats. They hung around close by while we were chatting with Gloria. One of them climbed into my lap every day we were there. This is the same cat who wouldn't even come out from the behind the furniture on our first visit a few years ago! Now that we're home I miss having the kitties around.

Have you ever heard of a cat who was nuts about peppermint? Once while Gloria's cat was on my lap I had a breath mint in my mouth, and the kitty all but gave me a dental exam! Peppermint is like catnip to her! Mr. had wrapped a breath mint in a tissue and put it in his pocket, and she stuck her head in his pocket trying to get to it!
