A local restaurant sent me a 25% off coupon for my birthday, so we ate out today. (The restaurant was closed yesterday; the coupon was good anytime during the month.) Not only did we have a very good dinner at a discount, but each table got a sheet of patriotic window clings to take home. We also belong to their "club," so we earn points every time we eat there. 150 points gets you $10 off your next check. This weekend diners earn double points.
Today's weather is everything yesterday's wasn't. Warm but not too hot; sunny and breezy. Reminds me of Hawaii! I hope tomorrow is the same. It feels so good!
It'll be tough going back to work Monday, but the agency has worked so hard throughout the spring that everyone gets a day off in July and another one in August, plus I've earned two more days off for Sunday work. So even though it'll be tough going back to regular workweeks, I'll enjoy planning when to have my days off. Christmas and the day after are office holidays this year---I could add three days to that and take off the entire week! I haven't been able to do that before.
