I didn't know that the show, Home and Family, on Hallmark are all Christmas too! Maybe it has been mentioned but I am happy they are Christmas themed! It is on now, 10:30 central time, if anyone is interested. There will be another one on right after this is over.

It's going to be hazy, hot and humid today with temperatures in the upper 80's. I've been working on chores around the house all morning, can't believe how late it's getting already. I'm going to head out now to run a few errands. I'm also going to stop at the outlets to visit my daughter while I'm out since I will be nearby. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

We're back in the swing of things after 9 days of vacation. Nancy and I went to work, and Jacob is now working at Bernie's. Even Elizabeth went to Nancy's mom's to shell peas and cream corn. Then we took Elizabeth to play practice till 9pm. Yep, business as usual!

Expecting a hot and sunny day here, which means the commuter trains will be delayed all day. They're so decrepit that they have to run them slower in hot weather or they'll break down. Bless the MBTA. I drive to work, but Mr. works downtown and depends on the train, so he'll probably be running late tonight.

Soo-oo sleepy. Woke up with bad dreams this morning. Ugh.

Now UNDER a week away from our next Milestone, the two-thirds marker to Christmas Season 2014.
(Wow. Just imagine. Less than a week to go to Milestone number ELEVEN. Just look how many markers we have passed already!)


The temps keep getting hotter and wouldn't you know, our A/C gave up yesterday evening.
Naturally, the two hottest predicted days of the week are today and tomorrow!
(Must be a corollary of Murphy's Law.)
We have started off here at 79 degrees already this morning.

Well, try to stay cool.....and have a Terrific Tuesday while you're at it!

Hope they can get the A/C fixed quickly for you!!!!!

Morning all!! Its a lovely sunny start to the day here in the UK, just about to go om the school run then nip to the supermarket for afew bit before heading back home to do the usual chores!!

Watching the Tv yesterday and a my little pony toy came on, my youngest daughter started shouting that she wanted to put it on her christmas list for santa!! I was itching to find out the xmas list writing set I bought for them last year haha!! Still it wont be too long before I do actually ask them what they want santa to bring them! I like to start my lists around september when they have gone back to school!!

Everything is back up and running though and it looks the worst of the storms are done with for the day. Not a whole lot going on here. I need to get my normal cleaning done and then I want to clean out my pantry. I'll have Hallmark on in the background too of course. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Since you don't have a whole lot going on you can do chores at my house too!

The conversation of, "Is Santa real"? came up with my 2 older grandsons last night - ages 8 - 10. My daughter had to call me last night to break the news to me gently, I think she thought I was going to be devastated! I know they are getting older and it's expected. I am just happy my oldest grandson made it to age 10 before questioning! Heck, I was 7 years old when I questioned it. It all turned out good and their parents discussed about celebrating the spirit and of Santa. I am glad that they did not say, "yeah, you're right kid, there is no Santa"! Instead they told them about the real St. Nicholas, which I have told them before but they let them know he was real! It was a nice transition. It was funny though how my daughter called and was carefully telling me about it because she knows how much I love Santa and was not sure of how my reaction would be! :lol: Hey, the kids are normal and they are getting older! I expect that! It's all good! The kids will still love Christmas and they will still see me get excited when I see Santa!!! He's real to me! :transform:

You know, it's really cool though, these conversations usually come up during the holidays. Just goes to show that my grandkids think about Christmas year round like I do!

Glad to hear that they handled it like they did. I've tried to have this talk with my sisters but they won't listen to me. So I just have to hope that my niece's will come to me when it's time.

Well thankfully they came around and checked my smoke alarm a little bit ago. So now I can move on to getting some stuff done tomorrow. The first thing I did though, was decorate for CIJ!!!!!

We saw Ringo Starr over the weekend. He is celebrating his 74th birthday today and still rockin. It was a great show!

I need to order some catalogs. I miss getting holiday ones in the mail! I know, I know, I can go online and look at them but there is nothing like a catalog with real pages to turn!

Did you know that we never had a DVR before until about 2 weeks ago??? I am addicted to that thing! I have set it for several of the Hallmark movies so when this marathon is over I can watch them again!

I am loving (& dvr'ing) the Hallmark movies too. I'm a little sad they end already at 10pm! Last night I started watching one on my dvr after Hallmark went to The Middle. :smile:

He didn't like the idea of a summer job at first, but when he found out he had some spending money that he didn't have to talk us out of, he changed his tune.

I am loving (& dvr'ing) the Hallmark movies too. I'm a little sad they end already at 10pm! Last night I started watching one on my dvr after Hallmark went to The Middle. :smile:

When The Middle came on last night it was a Thanksgiving one. I ended up watching that one! (9 pm here). It works out for me to end at that time, I am usually asleep between 9 and 10 every night. Hallmark Movie Channel continues to show Christmas movies all night. Do you have that station?

Good Morning, ummmm, afternoon???? I'm sooo screwed up with my sense of time right now~ Well, I am officially on the overnight shift now, been trying to switch my internal clock for sleeping, this is soooo werid, waking up at 3 pm and ready for coffee and a bagel.... The first night went off pretty well, I did pretty good up to 4am then I started running out of steam, the drive back home was a bug-a-boo (1/1/2 hour road trip).....I should do better tonight~

I woke up, grabbed my coffee and turned on the Hallmark channel and watched Kelsey Grammer in "A Christmas Carol". It was the first time I watched that version and I liked it, totally different, but yet I liked it....
