Hey! That means we are entering the final third of our journey.
And.....now you better hold on to your mistletoe for this.....just look how close we are to double digits to the Season!

Days to the Season: 122
Days to Christmas Day: 164


Still the humidity and the heat but it hasn't been too bad for July.
At least we have had no precipitation.
Today may be our last clear one, however, as rain is supposed to make a comeback tomorrow.
We show 78 degrees here, currently.

My plans were to stay home and get a lot done today but my dad called and wanted me to ride with him to run some errands. Honestly I was not in the least bit interested in going at first but then thought, this is my dad wanting to hang out with his daughter and he asked me for his company. Does it really matter what we do? It's quality time with dad! So I will go with him to take care of some errands. My housework will be waiting on me when I return. :-D

My son-in-law and daughter will be here hanging out with my son while we are gone. Going to put them to work! Yay!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I don't feel a day over 50!! LOL A couple of my friends called and said "I can't believe you're fifty!", like it's a bad thing. Shoot, after a close call a couple years ago, I'm proud to see each birthday. Thank you, Lord!

This'll be the busiest two weeks of the summer. Elizabeth has signed up for a two-week intensive dance camp, in addition to her regular dance class AND play practice. So she had to be at dance camp from 9am till 2pm, then play practice from 5pm till 9pm. That 3 hour gap means another trip to Statesboro, because they are not in the same place. For two weeks! And Jacob's schedule over there increases starting this week since he got a place in the band that his instructor sponsors.

I'll need a second home in Statesboro soon, I'm afraid.

Good morning. We have one last day of the 90s this week then we drop into the 70s! That is almost unheard of in Oklahoma but I'm not complaining!

Good morning MMC! We have an overcast day today with a chance of rain later! Contractors showed up this morning with forms, so hopefully we'll have walls poured today! Getting excited!!! We moved our bedroom upstairs last night - was odd sleeping in a different room. Almost felt like I was on vacation. HA! We had another nice weekend at the lake. Bonfires were awesome for the chilly nights! Saturday we put 20 miles on our bicycles. Yesterday morning we got a 7 mile ride in & then we went back to our trailer (2 other girls & I) so we could do a practice run on Egg Nog for Christmas in July. It was delicious!!!! And here we are - back to Monday already! One day closer to Friday, right? Hope you all had a great weekend & on to a great Monday!!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a humid stormy day here with a high in the mid 80's. Then the cool down arrives tomorrow with a high of 71!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!! They are back to working on our building this morning to get it ready for painting. The had the saws going at 8am. So much for sleeping in some. LOL!!! Not much going on here today. Just need to do some cleaning and some work here on the computer. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Hello friends and happy Christmas in July. It's been a few minutes since I dropped by. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer. It's been a really busy time for me but happy to report all is well.

Monday's will never be my favorite day but to see that 2/3 of the way to the season has been completed sure makes it a bit easier to take!

I am back from running around with my dad. My mom ended up joining us and we went out to eat and guess what we had??? Mexican food! Finally!!!

While we were in the car we were talking about TV and my mom said, "All your dad has watched all week is Hallmark Christmas movies". My dad is just too cool! He needs to join us here! cheesy He started talking about his favorite ones he was watching this week, he even has some favorites he has seen multiple times. My mom said those Hallmark movies were way too girly for her. :lol: My dad said, "Well I thought you didn't like all the war movies I watch"? Ha ha! He can't win, can he? :wink: My dad will have to get back in touch with his manly side and watch some John Wayne and a war movie this week!

Your parents sound too cute! I'm glad you had fun!!!

Good evening everyone! 'Yankee Candle' thing didn't work out. Yes, there were a lot of candles and nearly all of them smelt delicious but there were no deals in the store. :/ So I decided to save the idea of giving the candle as a present for Christmas. :]

I walked up to the city center in the morning but typical Scottish weather didn't leave me any other choice than to take a bus on my way home or otherwise I would have been all soaked. I hope it won't be pouring that badly on Wednesday when I'm having my first shift at the Games.
