Although my team was The Netherlands during the whole world cup, I cheered for Germany in the final. I'm glad that Europeans took over the football world. ^^

Hello everyone! I've just came back from my first shift at the Games. It was confusing though in all aspects but I'm sure I will get better by the time the Games start. It was challenging too but I already mes so many nice people which pays off everything. It's kinda remarkable how a sport event can bring people together - you talk to other volunteers anywhere you go because you can recognize them by their uniforms, and you wave the bus drivers because you all are at the same page now. It's a wonderful feeling. :]
I know that you asked to post a picture of me wearing a uniform and I promised to do that but I didn't have time to take a picture this morning. I had an early shift today so I pretty much woke up, jumped into a uniform and rushed through the door. I will take a picture next time though. :]
Oh, and since it was my first shift, I got my first 'appreciation/surprise' pack:
I think the towel is very cute (it's quite big actually) and I like the wristband (it says 'Glasgow 2014' on the outside, and I really like that little 'thank you' detail on the inside. I think it's very cute). I believe there will be three more 'surprise' bags. Weee! ^^
