Good Morning, Weekend Eve Arrivers!



And to be sure, it is Weekend Eve once again here in MMC Land.



Our figures for the day:

Days to the Season: 118

Days to Christmas Day: 160



And now we find ourselves barely over 2 1/2 weeks away from the 100-day Season Milestone and the start of our double-digit count sequence, signalling the first light at the end of the tunnel.





Another nice day was had here yesterday.

I could get real used to these lower temps and humidity.

(But that would be a mistake!)

We are at 70 degrees here, currently.

Good evening,

One more day!!!!!


I should be asleep, had to come in here before I shut my eyes.
Long day, a project I was anticipating to take 4 hours took me 7+, needless to say I didn't get everything done I needed to before my final shift tomorrow.

We did get all we needed for our trip, and on the way home I showed the boys the house that is all done up with Christmas decorations and my youngest, LC, says "why did they leave those up so long?" I told him that "they just put them up for Christmas In July." His response, remember he is just 6 years old, was: "That is so disrespectful." I could not help but laugh. I thought he would find the decorations cool, but he finds them disrespectful being out in July.
Poor JP has got an inner ear infection and is in a lot of pain, his allergies are wreaking havoc with him now. He is on antibiotics, and hopefully he will be feeling better by Saturday, he is miserable right now.

One more shift to go, I can't wait to get to the lake. We will most definitely be heading here:

I am hoping it will be less sports themed this year.

Morning all, just grabbing a quick cup of coffee before going to pick my youngest daughter up from her last ever nursery session!! she will be at school full time when they go back in september! where has my baby girl gone!!??

Its cooled down a little bit here which Im slightly glad of, dont get me wrong i love the sun but it has been so humid and its been hard to get a good nights sleep!!

Good morning!
We are currently at 64 degrees and it feels wonderful. It is going warm up to around 80 degrees today.
I'm having a quick cup of coffee and then I have to get moving. I have an appointment this morning to have my hair cut & colored. I want to get some chores done before I go and I also need to throw dinner together in the crock pot. I will be back later this afternoon to catch up here.

We are currently at 64 degrees and it feels wonderful. It is going warm up to around 80 degrees today.
I'm having a quick cup of coffee and then I have to get moving. I have an appointment this morning to have my hair cut & colored. I want to get some chores done before I go and I also need to throw dinner together in the crock pot. I will be back later this afternoon to catch up here.

[Holiday]

Hello there! After few days of cloudy sky and some rain, it has been a very beautiful, sunny and warm day here in Glasgow. :]

Went to the city center again to buy few more things for my cousin (I'm afraid I might spoil her ^^) and then came across a very nice coffee shop. In fact, it is located right in the central station from which I take trains to get to get to the national hockey center for my shifts. This is funny how I didn't see the place before. ^^ It is a very cozy coffee shop with not too much seating making it a perfect place to read or work. The coffee was amazing (they also make coffee using soya instead of regular milk which I was surprised about because most of non-chain coffee shops don't do it) and the staff was incredibly nice. I think it might be 'my place in Glasgow' to grab some coffee when bored of big, fancy coffee shops. It just seems that baristas who work in wee coffee shops put more love and attention in making every cup of coffee which always makes a drink much more enjoyable. :]

Good evening, friends! Hope you're all doing well! I know I'm very behind here. I hope I'm not missing anything too important. I've been thinking about you all and keeping you all in my prayers.

I've been very busy at work - working a lot of extra hours, with tomorrow bringing my weekend off. I'm really looking forward it. I can't wait to spend most of it here with you guys and watch CIJ!

Saturday is DH and I's 6th anniversary. We're going to go out and celebrate tomorrow night. We'll be going to a restaurant we've never been to before, so hopefully it's good. We're looking forward to enjoying CIJ together this weekend as well. He's really got into the last year or so.

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday!!! It's a gorgeous morning. Would be a perfect morning to sit outside & have coffee. But there's this darn work thing... Lol!

So last night "we" (hubby) got the top cabinets ripped out of the kitchen = progress! He hooked a hose up in the new addition - trying to run water through a tile to see where it's blocked. I ask him - since the hose is hooked up, if he would water the tree in our backyard that's in memory of my brother. (needs some water) Well, he tried & look what happened:







Yup little Miss Gracie found the water & then I look outside & see my hubby CRACKING UP! She was having an absolute blast - opening the race track, running through the dirt! (I have to admit, it cracked me up too) Soooo - she got bath #2 last night before bed! I have never seen such dirty water in my life!!! Thank goodness she gets groomed today!!! Again - what a stinker!!!
