Good morning MMC!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! (in July)

I wanted to share this article I just read on the front page of Yahoo this morning. It was ironic b/c I just watched this video yesterday for the 1st time ever thanks to xmastidings posting the links to different Christmas websites. It's about the "Peace On Earth" special with Bing Crosby & David Bowie. I'll have to mark my calendar for Dec. 2nd! :grin:

Happy Christmas in July! And happy Friday, too!

I suggested a turkey dinner for the occasion, so Mr. is going to get some turkey and sides from Boston Market on the way home, while I fix some stuffing. We also got a gorgeous coconut layer cake and some cranberry sauce yesterday. To keep the July vibe, I think I'll serve it on Chinet to help with the cleanup!

Holding down the fort at the front desk again today. Everyone else is either on vacation or at an offsite meeting. So far I'm the only one in the office. There will be a few coming in later on after the meeting is over.

That turkey dinner sounds like a good idea, I wish I would have thought of it. We have a turkey in the freezer, but it's a little late to thaw now. cheesy

I didn't think of this but I guess I could turn my dinner into a Christmas one. I am baking some chicken and cooking veggies. I think I will make some stuffing, get some cranberry sauce and sweet potatoes to go with it!

Maybe it's time to start thinking about my Christmas wish list.....

Well, just getting back from DC, stopping by the office to clean up some loose ends and then I'm out of here.... The weekend is here baby~

We are going to have a bon-fire tonight out in the backyard, going to cook up some sausages, potatoes, do some smores later on.... Love it.... Hope everyone had a good day today and have a nice night tonight~

And hardest of all to believe is the fact that the day after tomorrow we will be down to single digits
to the 100-day Season Window Milestone and the begining of a double-digit Season count.
(Have mercy!)


Lots of rain here yesterday evening.
(And yes, the gutters performed flawlessly, although a marauding squirrel spells trouble for the future!)
Real wet and 71 degrees here this morning but our high is supposed to be lower.
Hopefully, that will offset the humidity increase.

Good morning!
I'm heading out soon, my daughter has an appointment with her pediatrician to get medical clearance for her surgery on Monday. Then I have an appointment with my neurologist. I don't like having two appointments back to back but I didn't have a choice. I'm going to be busy afterward catching up with my chores, running errands and whatever else comes up. Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's supposed to be a decent day here in Indy with a high around 80 degree's. There is a slight chance of some storms but nothing widespread. That holds off until tomorrow. Mom is doing better this morning. Still shaky but she is getting around the apartment on her own this morning. She won't be walking around any stores or anything though. Not to much on my agenda today. Just need to get caught up on stuff around here and then I'll probably run to the grocery since I think mom will be okay on her own for an hour. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

So glad that Mom is showing signs of improvement, buddy~

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Today is the last day of Elizabeth's 2-week intensive ballet camp, and they're having a short recital at 2pm today. But she has to stay after the recital for Oliver Twist rehearsal, so it's still a long day for her.

The City of Claxton is having its 2nd annual Music in the Park tonight. This is the event that my band played last year. This year features a young girl (she's Nancy's cousin) that has been to Nashville several times, and has won several awards as a musician. I think these outdoor events are great!
