No grandkids today since my daughter has the day off. So I am having a "Me" day! Going to celebrate Christmas in July! I sure wish Wayne was off work today to celebrate!

I am happy to hear about mom but praying for 100% improvement!

Here is our menu so far for tomorrow night. Many people have not responded with what they are bringing! Mmmmmm - can't wait!

I slept like a log last night, I feel like I could go back to bed now. Nothing really planned around here today, just mowing the grass, that will be done. Just waiting for the dew to dry up a little more.

Well, just getting back from DC, stopping by the office to clean up some loose ends and then I'm out of here.... The weekend is here baby~

We are going to have a bon-fire tonight out in the backyard, going to cook up some sausages, potatoes, do some smores later on.... Love it.... Hope everyone had a good day today and have a nice night tonight~

I bought myself a, Merry Christmas in July gift! I found these throw pillows at a garage sale for a buck a piece. It doesn't look like they have even been used. I have said I have way too much Christmas stuff BUT I do not have any Christmas throw pillows so it's okay! The Santa pillow is my favorite one. I told the people running the garage sale that this is perfect because today is Christmas in July! They had no clue what I was talking about but gave me a smile anyway. =)

That garage sale had all kinds of Christmas stuff at good prices and I was grabbing stuff up then "slapped my hand" and said, "No, I don't need anymore"! So I put it all back. :lol:

These pillows will stay on my couch for now to celebrate Christmas in July.

I ran around with my parents today and we went out for Mexican food - again! I then said to them, "Oh, by the way, Merry Christmas in July"! Huh? Was their response. Ha ha! Then I told them it's July 25th! Oh yeah! Then they understood, really it's nothing weird coming from me anyway, they were just not expecting the greeting. :lol:

Good morning!
I'm heading out soon, my daughter has an appointment with her pediatrician to get medical clearance for her surgery on Monday. Then I have an appointment with my neurologist. I don't like having two appointments back to back but I didn't have a choice. I'm going to be busy afterward catching up with my chores, running errands and whatever else comes up. I'll pop back in at some point to catch up here. I hope everyone has a great day. Keeping you all in my prayers xx

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's supposed to be a decent day here in Indy with a high around 80 degree's. There is a slight chance of some storms but nothing widespread. That holds off until tomorrow. Mom is doing better this morning. Still shaky but she is getting around the apartment on her own this morning. She won't be walking around any stores or anything though. Not to much on my agenda today. Just need to get caught up on stuff around here and then I'll probably run to the grocery since I think mom will be okay on her own for an hour. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!
