Christmas Countdown - 2014

We had a good weekend! We went to the historic Downtown McKinney, Texas yesterday. Snow-in-Texas love that place! One store already had some Halloween items out and they were so adorable! We ran around all day stopping at random places on the way to McKinney and back. We love doing that stuff! We got home did a few chores then settled in to watch TV. I sure love our Saturdays together! We just get up and go sometimes not even knowing where we are going, just take a drive and stop at different places. Fun!

I never got a chance to post about this but my mom and I took the grandkids to the bounce house again on Wednesday. My mom and I were the only adults there jumping in the houses, climbing the inflatable "rock walls" and sliding down the giant slides. We had so much fun. My mom can't wait to go back there again! Ha ha! Great grandma just cannot sit still!

I love running and jumping around at those places...what a cool great-grandma and grandma the kiddos have!!!

I must mention this but this has been one of the best summers temperature wise. We are in the triple digits right now and not liking that but at least we have had quite a few days of mild temps for most of the summer. In a few days it will drop back down to the lower 90's and upper 80's for the high! Now I know why some of you up north like summer - I get it!!! I can handle this! It puts me in a much better mood when I can step outside and actually breath! Lower electric bills are nice too! We have also been getting rain, usually it stays dry all summer. Love it!

I am very happy for You to experience a nice summer ....those temps would kill me!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Homemakingirl!!!

It's been a while everyone, plus there were some difficulties trying to get on here a few weeks back, but it seems that difficulty has been settled!

I've been extremely busy and it's been stressful here, plus my right side of my lower back is all tight, so I can't sit in this chair very longs.

I see we have JUST passed the six month countdown, and it seems like it's been forever since the last Holiday!

I'm loving the warm weather we have been having, but today it's rainy, and humid.......feeling a bit like Florida actually!

So a hearty greeting to all, and all the best during the week....oh by the way......I thrown some snowballs to a few people......good sign that I'm back! GOTTCHA ALL!

I must mention this but this has been one of the best summers temperature wise. We are in the triple digits right now and not liking that but at least we have had quite a few days of mild temps for most of the summer. In a few days it will drop back down to the lower 90's and upper 80's for the high! Now I know why some of you up north like summer - I get it!!! I can handle this! It puts me in a much better mood when I can step outside and actually breath! Lower electric bills are nice too! We have also been getting rain, usually it stays dry all summer. Love it!

Morning, yall! Hope everyone enjoyed their Saturday. My brother came down this weekend, so we all went to eat pizza last night and did a little shopping. Bambina got up earlier and we fed her, but she has drifted off back to sleep. At this point, that sounds like a good idea. I will catch yall later!

We were on the flood watch again......just last year we had to leave the house and go to my mom for about a week because the flood was so high it came into the house even.....so we had a warning yesterday.....they took it back tho......Glad about that.....I prayed for it yesterday!!!
