Good morning MMC! Happy, Happy Friday!! I am soooo tired. Too many late nights in a row this week! My hubby says he's sleeping half a day away this weekend. :lol: We talked about staying home this weekend, but I'm ready to get away from the mess, so to the lake we go! I might have to do a little cooking out there this - just because I can! LOL! But tonight it's going to be pizza!!!

I think all of the lights are in the kitchen now, except for the light above the kitchen sink. I walked into the kitchen after they turned them all on & it looked like an airport runway!! :lol: LOVE IT! Next week I need to paint the bathroom...Oh joy....

Just realized that in about 23 minutes, the East Coast enters the month of August...the last month that doesn't end in 'Ber.

Yep!!! We just entered August here and with that, it also marks the end of QVC's Christmas in July. Boo!!!!


Does that mean I have to take my table top Christmas tree down now?

Good morning MMC! It's been a while since the last time I was there. Apologies for that but my days have been quite hectic. Most of my shifts at the Games are early ones so I wake up at 4am, leave in half an hour and come back home no earlier than 6pm having energy for nothing but sleep because there is another early shift following day. Despite that, I've been loving every second of my volunteering experience. Sneaked into hockey matches (I'm based in hockey center), got last minute free ticket to see athletics (haven't seen so many people in my life!), also got to see the Queen, prince Edward and Sophie followed by Prince William and Kate. They all came to the hockey center, and as far as I know, hockey is Kate's favorite sport. ^^

My last shift is on Saturday but since the men hockey finals are on Sunday, I expect either for an extra shift or (maybe) a last minute ticket to see the matches. Fingers crossed!

summer-cold-update: I think a slight improval.......could be better.....my own fault.....Yesterday I thought it was a great idea to vaccuum, mop the floors, arrange the house, fold the clothes and to cut bushes in the garden for more than an hour.........I should have laid down and rest a little.....lol

anyhow....I am still happy....cos it´s the 1st of August....which means the next 1st will the 1st of a BER month.....and that...makes me incredible happy!!!!!!!

Today we either gon have homemade pizza.......or potatoe salad and fish-sticks.......I´m a gourmet ......hahahahahahaha

Get some rest! =)

I've been challenged to walk/jog 100 miles in the month if August. So, I'm off to get started. What did I get myself into!?!?!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a warmer day here with a high in the low 80's. Then next week it really starts warming up with 2 days above 90 degree's predicted. So after what turned out to be the coldest July ever on record here in central Indy, it looks like summer is finally going to show up. Boo!!!!! I don't have to much on the agenda for today. Just have some work around the apartment and then I might run a few errands. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!
