I am burning the "Farmer's Market" scent tart right now. Smells wonderful!

I love when homes are decorated for Harvest, it just gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling.

Yessss, Love it.....I was just there Thursday night. I didn't get anything then, because they had there promotion signs out for their Halloween stuff that is supposed to be out on the shelves today.... So, I'm going back tomorrow and gonna do some shopping.

We plan to go on a nice bike ride by the river, and then out to a nice dinner this evening. Should be fun!

It's raining here this morning and showers are expected throughout the day. I planned on grilling for dinner so hopefully it will clear out by this evening. Not too much going on here. My youngest and my middle one have to work for a few hours. My husband was up at 4:00am to head in to the city to be on a job. So it will be just be me and my oldest one for most of the day. She's still in pain but we expected this, we were told she may have a harder time recuperating because of her age. The pain pills have been making her so nauseous over the past few days, she doesn't even want to take them. I spoke with her doctor yesterday and he prescribed another medicine to help with the nausea. I hope that will do the trick. The poor thing. Thank God she took off for two weeks from work, she's going to need it. Anyway, I do need to sneak out of here at some point and go food shopping. Other than that I'll just be working on some chores.

home again, stuffed after sampling 6 different flavors of ribs. Not to mention the corn on the cob, many salads, fresh vegies and dip and about 10 different desserts.

The judge sadly, was unable to pick a winner and stated that we must return on the labor day weekend and have a rematch.

The storms that threatened never came to our area so we were a bit chilled but stayed dry.

It was a good day!

Wayne and I had no plans in particular, just jumped in the car, looked at each other and said, "Where to"??? Ha ha! We just randomly stopped at a few stores looking at the fall and Halloween goodies. Michael's had some cool stuff that I posted in the Halloween Blossoms thread.

After we left those stores we saw a bunch of rescue doggies up for adoption at Pet Smart and stopped to "Oooh and Ahhh" over them. We always stop when they have that event. We cannot adopt but the people who put them up for adoption say they are glad for people to drop by even if they cannot adopt to give the dogs attention so they can get use to people. Wayne and I also love to hear the stories of how they were rescued, where they came from and their personalities. We have been doing that for years, just cannot resist when we see them!!! Maybe one day we will be doing the same and rescue them! We love doggies, kitties and all animals!

We have been chilling at home since late this afternoon watching TV.

I hope you all are having a Merry Weekend!!!

Forgot to mention but we have been talking about going to the Johnson Space Center in Houston for over a year now. It's just about a 4 hour drive and we keep passing it on the way to Galveston when we go or just go to Houston for other things but just never stop to see the Space Center! I think we are planning to make the trip after school starts. We have been to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida but never been to the Johnson Space Center. I love that kind of stuff, so does my dad and Wayne. Wayne and I are for sure going and I think my dad plans to join us. I can't wait!
