Do you remember when Wayne was put in the hospital for 4 days due to a-fib several years back? He has been fine since and has been under doctor's care ever since. He has an appointment with the cardiologist in a couple of weeks. Every appointment looks good but you are right, he needs to be very careful! The heat here is dangerous for everyone but can really be hard on those with health conditions. I know you know about heat, you suffer the same there!

Oh, yeah. No working on Sunday around here. You'll get a sideways look and a "tsk, tsk" for your effort. LOL

I glad Wayne's still doing good. Tell him to come visit!

The not so good news - I am feeling awful right now and sick to my stomach. I think I might lay down for a bit and hopefully will feel better in a little while.

Please keep my son Joshua in your prayers. He just called and the doctor is admitting him today because of lesions on his liver that they think have metastasized, some of them quite large. You might recall that he was diagnosed with leukemia in 2007 and has been cancer-free since all his treatments then.

I'm so sorry, Cherylle. Prayers for Joshua going up now.

Oh! I understand now. It's not unusual around here. It seems that most people only have Sunday to get their yard work done. You hear them revving up the mowers all weekend long. =)

Move to Dallas and we will let you mow on Sundays. Ha ha! I am sure you are much happier where you are at and can relax on Sunday!

battery for van was still under warranty and I got it replaced. The new one is now in and the van is running great again.

FIRST SIGN OF CHRISTMAS FOR ME!!!! Just got a fall fest flyer in the mail with a note at the bottom about the church's live nativity date!!!!! Wooooo!!

first sign of Christmas reminds me,
the other day at work I had a man go through my till that if he was in a red suit would have looked exactly like every picture I have seen of Santa Claus! I asked if he ever played the part, and sadly he said no. But the cool thing is that his name is "Claus"! His grandchildren call him Santa.

Got the mowing done a little while ago. Wayne had told me he would do it before work. I told him NO! He is already putting in plenty of hours at work and I am not babysitting the grandkids today so I got it done.

Good afternoon,

We went and visited my grandparents this morning, they are doing okay. My grandmother has decided to forego the chemo treatments, it just made her feel awful. She gave me a number of her Santas, (I gave her a Santa for Christmas every year from the mid-90's until 2008) they are all so beautiful. I just don't know where I will put them. It was nice to visit my grandparents, but for the first time in my life my grandmother looked weak, it was a real shock to see her like that.

Just resting now, taking a little time to wind down, and then pizza!!! Woohoo!

I am feeling a lot better today, just a nagging headache.

I will be back throughout the evening. ttyl
