Good morning MMC! I'm finally through all the posts!!

I can not believe how COLD it got last night! :cold: The wind was wicked & it was spitting rain!! I stayed in the trailer & crocheted. I had 2 windows open & the AC was on, but it was not running & I was covered in a blanket! CRAZY! It was my nieces birthday yesterday & she sent a text saying they just got off the pontoon. I told her it must be a lot warmer in Indiana than it is in Ohio....then she sent me a pic - they all had their winter coats & hoods on! :lol: Too cold for me! We are supposed to get up to 75 (and sunny) today!

The flooring in our kitchen, bathroom & utility room should be done after today. He had everything in yesterday - just needs grout! I think we are going to take a drive Friday morning to see our cabinets! YAY!!!

Sounds like wonderful weather!!! I know you are not crazy about it but I wish we had it here. I actually stepped out this morning and there was a slight cool breeze - rare for around here this time of year. Going back up to triple digits again this weekend.

My mom and I went out to lunch. I didn't have much of an appetite yesterday but made up for it today! Now home and getting ready to get some chores done.

Thank you so much. I can't believe the pictures and videos I'm seeing on the local news. Some areas are flooded worse than after Hurricane Sandy. I'm watching the news right now and they are showing someones back yard that is flooded so bad, the water is level with the top of their above ground pool. It's insane. And that is in my town. I am so thankful we are alright here. We have some water in the basement, I went down and the floor is squishy so I know it was starting to come up, our pump is running non-stop. My husband still hasn't come home, the last time I spoke with him he said he was able to get in to his shop, several of his machines were under water. I'm not sure what they're going to do, what a nightmare!

Good guess but it was Vegetarian Indian food. It has been my very favorite restaurant for nearly 25 years! Now that I have multiple food allergies it's one of the safest restaurants I can eat at without having to worry about feeling ill when I leave. Most of it is wheat/gluten and dairy free. If there is wheat/gluten or dairy in anything it is labeled as such. Buffet all you can eat! I loved that restaurant long before I had any problems. =)

It's hard to believe but I can work around my allergies at a Mexican food restaurant but I sure do miss cheese enchiladas!!!

I just found out that today is International Left-Hander's Day. That's especially significant here at MMC as a result of some scientific research I did here a couple years ago, indicating that, while the actual world norm of left-handers is close to 10%, almost 37% of MMC voters are left-handed.

I'm not big on statistics, but that's a huge increase from the average.

It's been a typical week so far...busy, busy, busy. Nancy & Jacob were at Jacob's band practice late, so Elizabeth and I went out to Subway for a turkey sub for supper. Pretty good!

Today, I have to get on the lawn mower (since it's not Sunday, CAH!).

You know with all this facebook talk, my 2 kids who are both in their 20's have never had a facebook page and said they never will get one. I find that amazing because it seems that EVERYONE at that age has one. They were both in their teens when it all started and they never bothered with signing up. Probably a smart decision. =)
