Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good evening,

I went to my Dr. appt. today, and now I have to wait for the lab results to come back. The one thing for certain is that I have a sinus infection, the Dr believes I also have kidney stones as among one of the possibilities of what is ailing me. I am on some heavy antibiotics and nasal spray. What a way to spend vacation week. Oh well, C'est la vie!

I am just listening to some music while visiting here.

Good morning!
It's going to be another beautiful day, sunny with temperatures in the mid 70's.
I'm going to be in & out today, the dogs have a groomer appointment this morning. I'm going to run to the supermarket while they are there to pick up a few things. Then back home to work on some chores. I'm also going to take my daughter clothes shopping this afternoon. And whatever else happens to come up. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

A very loud thunderstorm has settled over our place. Nothing dangerous...just a lot of rain and some loud thunder! I'll take any rain this time of year. But my daughter doesn't appreciate it and is scared. So I'm making a pallet on my on my baby's floor and headed to sleep.

I remember those days of sleeping in my kids rooms to comfort their fears. Funny thing is, thunderstorms were not something they feared but there were other things that spooked them from time to time. Very sweet of you to do that!

It was a long process, so many DVDs out of place due to 2 toddler phases, cats and other things. I use to work at Blockbuster Video years ago, and having them out of alphabetical order for so long was driving me nuts.

Yeah, my cats are awful about returning the DVD's to their proper place after watching them. (Sorry, couldn't resist - I knew what you meant! Just being silly!)

The Ballcoach has fulfilled his civic duty to his favorite community of people. Now, we wait for Crown to return to us and take back their responsibilities of posting. I have enjoyed sharing these past two mornings with you (I used to do that every morning) and I look forward to more.

I am finally feeling better this morning! When Wayne and I went to the Cowboys game Saturday night I was starving. With my food allergies there is not really much I can eat there but I settled on splitting some Ultimate Nachos with Wayne. Huge mistake! I am allergic to dairy and it was loaded with cheese. It knocked me down for 2 days - sluggish, sick to my stomach and all that fun stuff. All day at work Sunday was the pits and still felt the ill effects of it yesterday. I don't drink and I felt like I had one heck of a hangover!

The food is not cheap at the stadium so that was one expensive allergy attack! Those nachos did taste really good though! :lol:

No matter what, we had a lot of fun at the game even though the Cowboys lost and I got sick!!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Not much to report today. I'm doubling down on my effort here at work since I'll be out for a couple days. There are some things that MUST get done this week, or so I'm told.

First things first, however. My first pot of coffee finally finished brewing.

A man has to have his priorities.
