Okay, I think Carl may be trying to kill us with his "Pub" menu for tonight.

I mean a hamburger patty, a sausage patty, ham, pulled pork, and bacon? I hope he has the paramedic's on stand by!!!!

My left arm hurts just looking at it. cheesy

Once again, thank you all.

It was a rough day today, lots of tears shed. The wake and funeral won't be until Sunday & Monday. My grandfather is struggling, he has said he wished it was him that went first. He stayed with my grandmother all day yesterday holding her hand the whole day while she was in a coma, he didn't get up once, even to use the restroom. I am at such a loss right now.

My sister will be coming in on Friday, it has been a few years since we've seen her. I just wish it was under different circumstances.

Thanks again, your support means everything to me.

Good night.

I definitely do not like thunderstorms or tornadoes at all. I, too, feel like the weather has been changing. Take care, Star. Glad you were able to get in some extra hours!

the storms have passed, no major damage thankfully. We have been getting more of this type of weather in our area over the past few years. We are part of tornado alley so it is not surprising.
Going up to bed now, working again tomorrow. I have 40 hours this week, love it. But also not used to it so am rather worn out. I normally work only 18 to 20 hours a week. I wish I could get these kind of hours every week.

Have a good night everyone

I would share one! It looks so delicious!

Take care during those storms, Meceka. We have had a couple weird storms this year, but normally we don't have them here.

Good afternoon, MMC!

Once again storms are firing up here in Michigan so no time to reply w/quotes.

Xmas, I am so sorry for your loss! I will keep you and your grandfather and family in my prayers. {{{HUGS}}}

Mgramsey, I will keep your dad in my prayers! {{{HUGS}}}

CAH, hope you are better soon! {{{HUGS}}}

Be safe and MERRY!!!

Happy Pines Day!!!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be a hot, stormy day here with a good chance of finally breaking that 90 degree mark for the first time this summer. Boo!! Nothing to big on the agenda today. Just staying inside this morning and then I may have to take mom to get her ultrasound this afternoon if my sister can't go with her. I just have to wait and see. I should probably try to get some sleep too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!

Good Morning, Folks.

Continuing our march through the week, we arrive at yet another new set of count figures:
Days to the Season: 84
Days to Christmas Day: 126

We also arrive at the conclusion that our next Milestone, the two-thirds Christmas Day point, is now barely over HALF A WEEK AWAY.
(How can these fascinating Milestones come and go so quickly??)

Well, the heat and humidiy continue to slowly build to remind us that the unusual cool weather we have been having lately is not the norm.
Still not too bad though, and we have started today at 72 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone.
And dream about Weekend Eve tomorrow!

Good morning everyone. Just saw the Old Farmers Almanac forecast for the upcoming winter. We live in the far west of NC. Only about 5 miles from the TN line, (as the crow flies). I sure hope their forecast is right for us. They are calling for much below norm temps and slightly above normal snow. That would be a perfect winter, cold & snow. Here is a link to their forecast.

Our son's new glasses just came in so the wife & I have the perfect excuse to drive down to Gardner Webb Univ this weekend and see him.

Have a blessed day.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm trying to finish up a couple things here in the office before I head to Charlotte.

My brother has asked me to help him sell a race engine on the internet, so I posted it in a racing buy/sell/trade site, and there's already a buyer. But this guy in a sailor at sea, and he wants to use Paypal to pay for it, and send a courier to pick it up.

I've used Paypal to pay for things before, but never used it to collect. And 6this guy is in a hurry to buy it before anyone else buys it, so he's insisting that we take the ad down and get this going. But I'm going out of town! Grrrr.

I'll post again from Crown's neck of the woods. Actually, it's a pretty long ride the Raleigh from Charlotte, but it's the same state, anyway. I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I use to sell on Ebay and receiving money on Paypal is an easy and safe way to receive money. You might consider it!

I hope you have a safe trip!

We sell Farmers Almanac at our job and the customers buy them up. It's an interesting little book!

Enjoy your visit with your son!
