Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be hot and humid again here today with a high of 90. Yuck!!!! I want that polar vortex to come back!!!!! I have to head out to help set up for the girl scout event here in a few minutes but I wanted to stop in and tell you all to have a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

When I first joined here on MMC my daughter was pregnant with our 3rd grandchild - she will turn 5 years old tomorrow. I have been watching my 3 grandchildren for my daughter and son-in-law while they work. I started watching them when my oldest grandson was just 3 years old - he is now 10. I have had the pleasure to spend a lot of time with them until they all went off to school. Now my youngest starts kindergarten on Monday. Time flies!!!

My mom and I took her out for her birthday yesterday. We went out for lunch then Build-A-Bear. She had a great time! Oh yeah, we had Mexican food. Are you surprised? :lol:

aaaaw.....5 years old.....please hug her from Kandice, Jones, Stripey and I......and shhhh.....don´t tell Kandice about the Build-A-Bear.....we just been at a mall today and there was a Build-A-Bear store....and she was so so so sad she didn´t get one

Good evening,



My sister came in from North Carolina today, it has been nice to see her. We have heard from one of my aunts, it is like WWE with them dealing with everything. Nothing like a death to divide a family. It is crazy what is going on. They were already "looting" my grandparents house before she passed. I think that is why my grandmother wanted to give me the Santas before she passed, so I wouldn't have to deal with them.



I called work and talked to them about bereavement, and it looks like I won't be heading back to work until next Thursday with the way it works out. We have tomorrow as a family day, then the tough days begin Sunday.

It's going to be another busy day for me. I'm heading out in a few minutes to go food shopping. Then back home to work on daily chores. I have other errands to run after that and then we have a birthday party this afternoon to celebrate my older brothers 50th birthday! I'm really hoping I can pop back in at some point, maybe this evening. It's been so hectic lately. My daughter and I haven't even begun to pack all of her stuff up for college. We definitely have to get started on that tomorrow.
