Good Morning, The-Weekend-Is-Here Friends.

Ah, yes!
That long-awaited respite from our labors.
Time to sit back, enjoy a cup of cof - er - tea and read the morning count numbers:
Days to the Season: 75
Days to Christmas Day: 117

And thus we find ourselves under 2.5 weeks away from the 100-day Christmas Day marker,
as the number of our Milestones dwindles down into that proverbial bedpost.
(Sad -- yet exciting!)


Slowly, bit by bit, the heat and humidity are creeping back.
Still better than average for late August here in the south.
Right now, we see 72 degrees here at our house.


Have a Sensational Saturday, Folks.
And I hope and trust your weekend is off to a great begining!

Good evening, everyone!

We've reached Labour Day weekend. September is right around the corner. So much is right around the corner, actually! Personally, I am (somewhat) excited to have the opportunity to return to the classroom as a substitute teacher in the next few weeks. As soon as October comes, I'll switch back to taking substitute jobs full time.

The weather here in Ottawa should be warm, rainy and windy tomorrow. The rest of the weekend could be a little wet, too. Oh well, at least it's the long weekend!

Well, it's not even 10pm and I am already sleepy. Have a great evening, everyone!

Yes, I get just as excited for Fall stuff, too! I have been going at least once a week for the past 6 weeks to check out the Fall/Harvest decorations!
JoAnn's is having a major Labor Day sale!!

Okay, I didn't just read that...I'm going to be good! I bought a few things yesterday between AC Moore and Hobby Lobby, then will be going to all the festivals this fall. I will try to be good!

I give you the permission to go shopping for me!!! :lol:

I just went through the posts quickly tonight, I am really not feeling well. I have been having chills all night, it is 80*f and I have been wearing flannel pants, long sleeve shirt and a heavy bathrobe just to stay warm. I am still going to try to go into work tomorrow.

Good evening. We're home. It was a really long day. My husband and I are exhausted. We had to carry all of my daughters stuff up three flights of stairs. I have bruises all over me, lol. She's all settled in. I miss her already. I don't like it. I have a headache from the stress of it all, so I'm going to turn in soon. The good thing is that I am finished dorm shopping. That's the only thing I'm happy about!

I know - me too! Haha...I want to place an order yet for Terry's Village yet and I should be done, until the craft shows. I keep asking DH if we can put more nails in the wall...lol...but I get his point, there is nothing to replace them with after the holidays. I just keeping telling him, I can just buy some other country décor to replace it with! He doesn't like that idea either. Men just don't get it!
