Ok, the moving company rep has just left. The moving company has given us their estimate to move, so we just signed that contract tonight. Also, for the house we are buying, the apprasial came in, and it appraised for 45,000 more than we are paying for it.....Sure glad the guy selling it to me, doesn't get to see that! Well, at least he signed all the addendums to the contract as well, so, with all of that behind us now, I suppose we can say it is now a 99% chance, that we are getting that house....

As soon as I go to settlement, I will then sign up for the Christmas exchanges; (don't want to jinx myself)!

I had the door and windows open to let some air in, but turned back around and closed them again. It must be at a minimum of 95% humidity outside. I had to turn the air conditioning back on again to wring out some of the moisture and get the temperature back down again to 71 degrees. It looks like it wants to storm outside, but it is not doing anything yet.

Hope everyone is having a nice evening tonight. Me, it's time for me to chill out for a little while then head to bed. 4am comes around too early for me now-a-days....

On a farmers sad note: My brother called me and told me a fox got into his hen house last night and killed all his chickens. Boy- o-boy, that was one peeeeoood brother of mine. I think he's sitting out hunting tonight with his 12 gauge.....

Glad to hear that it is all working out!!! The appraisal makes it even better!!!

Stay cool!! That is sad to hear about your brothers chickens. I hope he can take care of the problem.

Well I have to say, the roofers aren't afraid to put in a long day. They are going on 12 hours now. I'm going to hear saws and nail guns in my sleep tonight.

I usually follow the schedule from this website:

They list all of the Hallmark Christmas movies, some other good movies and holiday movies on other channels, as well!

The countdown to the countdown to Christmas starts on October 31st! So the Christmas movies will run from then until about January on Hallmark...yay![emoji319]

I personally love them all! Some more than others, The Christmas card is one of my all-time favorites.

It doesn't look like it has been posted, but says "soon!"

It looks like Snowflake has you covered on the schedule. I agree with her on The Christmas Card. It's a really good one. I also like November Christmas, The Ultimate Gift, The Santa Suit, Matchmaker Santa, and well, I could go on and on. LOL!!!!

Good afternoon!
I'm having a much needed cup of coffee before I start working on some chores around the house. I'll also be starting dinner before I know it. Today went well at the preschool but but my back is breaking. We still have a few kids that are crying so we've been holding them as much as we can to try and comfort them. It's been a long time since I walked around with a kid on my hip, I'm really feeling it. The rest of the day should be quiet for me, I don't plan on going anywhere. Looking forward to a relaxing evening. I'm also going to give my youngest a call to see how she's doing. September 27th is Family Day at the college so we'll be heading upstate to see her that day. I'm counting down, can't wait!

Hey there all! Just getting the chance to log in today for the first time. I left the house early and drove to a job site to review the construction progress. Got there and was wrapping things up, Ha, went to the car to leave,.....nothing! There I was, 100 miles from home and the dag-gone starter went up in the car. Had to get it towed to a near-by garage, at least it was owned by a Christian man, who needlessly did not rake me over the coals. Towing and installing a new starter - 350.00, I didn't think that was too bad!

Home now, waiting on a moving company to come to the house at 4 o'clock, to give us an estimate to move everything. Then it's back upstairs to remote log-in and do some work on another engineering project for the VA..... I'll be out there all day tomorrow doing some field investigations...

They finally quit around 9pm. They only ripped off about a 1/4 of the roof today but still didn't get all of it re shingled. That's okay though. It's over mom's room not mine.
