Good morning to all !!!! It's Monday morning the start of a wonderful week. Another busy week for me, but I like it that way.
Didn't get much done this past weekend except relaxing and watching football. I need to go thru my stamps and decide what I'm using for my Christmas cards this year and make sure I have all the supplies. Excited about getting started on them.

I weather is suppose to be nice this week. Hopefully the heat is gone for good.

Have a great day everyone:dance:

Relaxing and watching football sounds like a great weekend!!!

Hope you have a great day!!!!

Good Morning, Folks.

The weeks keep passing, one after another.
An inexorable voyage back to the inevitable - to our beloved Christmas Season.

Today's numbers:
Days to the Season: 59
Days to Christmas Day: 101

And frightening though it may be, we must face the fact that TOMORROW will see us through
the 100-day Christmas Window and onto the fast track through a double-double digit count right on the the
start of Christmas Season 2014.
(Moving right along now, Friends!)

Very pleasant yesterday. Almost too cool as I don't recall seeing it reach 70 all day.
Today should be a bit warmer and a bit wetter, as well.
Starting off the new week, we show 63 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everybody!
And I hope and trust your week is off to a great start.

Those numbers are starting to scare me!!!! LOL!!!!

Have a great day Crown!!!!

Good morning MMC! Happy Monday! I'm going to do my best to catch up around here ~ but you all were chatty! LOL! Hope you all had a great weekend!!

We stayed home most of the weekend, working in the house. I made a BIG batch of Ground Beef Hobo Stew, which turned out really yummy! I also made some fresh salsa, cut up & froze some tomatoes from the garden, & also froze some fresh green beans! I love having a kitchen again! Jim & friends have most of the insulation in the new room & the dry wall is sitting in our garage. Getting closer! Yesterday we went across the street to a party in the park - they had 2 bands, food, drinks, t-shirts ~ a benefit for the park. What a gorgeous day! All weekend was so fall like! My mums were delivered Saturday - they look beautiful!

:pumpkin:

And - my Gracie girl was groomed Friday:

On that note - Have a great Monday everyone!!!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! We are off to a chilly start here in central Indy where it's currently 55 degree's. It looks like we will top out around 70 though. Not much going on here. I'm just going to run into the store to get some cough syrup and then it will be back home to get some stuff done around here. I'm really feeling pretty good expect for this stupid cough. My sister has seemed to get over her's but me and my niece just can't seem to get rid of it. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Thank you all for your prayers!

I just spoke to my Dad, and the surgery went pretty well. They believe they got it all out. They took a skin graft from his chest for his arm. He is in some pain, but doing well otherwise. Already being my Dad & cracking jokes, bless his heart.

Glad to hear the surgery went well, Snowflake. Sorry I am just seeing this post, but I've been thinking about him. Hoping he is still doing well. Continued prayers.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's so humid here, my desktop and all my papers are moist...yuck!

I finally got all my grass cut Saturday afternoon, after Jacob's early-morning gig, and my niece's early morning wedding.

Yesterday, my brother and I got the rotary cutter repaired and on the tractor, then we started cleaning up Jacob's deer-hunting area. It was going good till I decided to follow the tractor with my truck and got bogged down. Luckily, we had the tractor!

I'm ready to get the ol' Stealth Cam back out in action!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Hello everyone. It's been a few days and I miss y'all! Things are crazy with my dad and with work but know I'm always thinking of you all! Have a good weekend.

Keeping you all in my prayers Ryan!

Good morning, MMC~

Happy Saturday!!

I was awakened by sirens, lots and lots of sirens by the highway. Praying for those involved with whatever is going on.

I think I will lay back down for a bit, too early to be up on a Saturday.

Shannon comes up today, looking forward to some sister time =]

Wishing you a blessed day with your loved ones!

What a terrible way to wake up. I hope everyone was ok. Hope you had a great time with your sis!!!

Good morning, guys! How are you all doing? I am doing well! Been very busy and I know I'm getting behind here. I hope to get caught up over the next couple of days.

Last evening, we had EA's 5th birthday party. I even believe she will be 5 on Monday. DH and I got her a new Barbie bike and we also got her an American Girl Doll. She said was the best birthday yet. Her friends had a blast too. Her Frozen cake was beautiful!

Today, we're going to my best friends daughter's 1st birthday. It's also hard she is turning 1. Where are these years going for our children?

Hope you're all doing well and having a good weekend so far! Thinking of all of you and your families. Lots of prayers!

Made: Praying for you and hope you're starting to feel better, buddy!

Happy Birthday to EA!!!

OK.
The Christmas Blossoms thread. Starting to get pretty close, now.

Good news and bad news.

Was out at Crabtree this week and the lady at the information desk said there were currently NO open spaces anywhere in the mall and that "A Christmas To Remember" will again not return.

On the other hand, I explored the third floor at Belks and the staff was busy putting out Christmas merchandise.
Hurray! There WILL be Christmas photos to launch the thread with!

Now, as to the date.....
Hmmm........
Got to give that some thought, now.

Awesome that Belks is starting to decorate ~ SO EXCITING ~ bummer about not having A Christmas To Remember, again!

Good afternoon, everyone!

It's a cold and wet day in Ottawa. How cold? Temperatures are currently 10c/50f or 6c/43f with the windchill. It's not getting much warmer today, either. In actuality, it feels like a late October or early November day.

In mere moments, Kim and I will be traveling to Tinseltown to see the brand new expansion of Ottawa's Christmas Emporium! We're both quite excited for the occasion! And, of course, I will be excited to share some photos as soon as the Christmas Blossoms thread opens in less than two weeks!

Have a great Saturday, everyone!!

Sounds amazing ~ hope you had a great time!

We're thinking of visiting the Edaville Railroad Festival of Lights this year!

"Edaville’s Christmas Festival of Lights is arguably the most-loved festival of its kind, having earned generations of loyal fans. Passengers relax comfortably in warm and dry railroad coaches while riding through a spectacular holiday setting featuring an explosion of lights. Kids of all ages will enjoy an array of vintage amusement rides and a visit with Santa in one of our indoor play areas. Stay for a delicious full meal or enjoy seasonal treats while roaming our sprawling and beautifully decorated grounds featuring thousands of Christmas displays. Trains typically run on an hourly schedule beginning one hour after opening and the last train is at 8pm."

I thought it was a long drive, but it's only between and hour and an hour and a half to get there. Mr.'s interested in going, and of course I am! He says if we enjoy it we'll make it an annual tradition.

Looks & sounds wonderful!

New afghan!

Here's a more detailed look. Now you can see the holly leaves!

I tried to make the border look like icicles. I think it worked out pretty well!

BEAUTIFUL afghan Merry! Is that knitted?

BEAUTIFUL afghan Merry! Is that knitted?

It's crocheted. The squares are crocheted in rounds, from the center out, with strategically placed front-post treble stitches forming the outlines of the holly leaves. I found the square pattern online years ago, but never did anything with it. I had to come up with a border for it and tried for an icicle effect.

Happy Monday, everyone!

Another perfect fall day out there. The leaves are ever-so-slowly beginning to blush and turn.

Keeping you all in my prayers Ryan!

I never found out what happened! I think they were in their way to another town nearby. Prayers for all involved.

Thanks!! Shannon & I had a blast!! [emoji4]

Good morning, MMC friends! Happy Monday! :snowball:

It's chilly here - in the 50's, but I'm enjoying it and it feels like fall! EA is 5 today! She was so excited when she awoke. I'll pick the kids up from school around 3:30 and when DH gets home from work, we'll go out for dinner.

I'm currently watching "Let It Snow", one of the original Hallmark Christmas movies.

Hope you all have a great day and a great start to your week!
