My evening did get a little bit better after we all sort of worked thru the bumps thrown at us yesterday. However, to cap things off last night, I don't know what happened with out two bunnies last night. They got into a heck of a scrap; rabbit hair was fling all over the place, they were going at it rolling all around in the cage and the floor. This morning, their grooming each other, laying next to each other sleeping, like nothing ever happened. I don't know, it's got me scratching my head....Now, I'm starting to wonder, do I really have 2 girl bunnies as I was told and purchased or what????? The one bunny is very protective of the other one! I think, an unscheduled trip to the bunny vet will be in-store asap.

Good idea! When I was in high school I had two "female" guinea pigs. I didn't know any different until one morning I had THREE guinea pigs! Then it was time for a little research and separate cages. But would you believe---a few weeks later there were three more babies! I don't remember the name of the one that turned out to be male, but I SHOULD have called him Speedy!!

Just go to a weather website (e.g., Accuweather, nws.gov) and plug in your zip code---it'll give you the current temp. I look at my weather app in the morning if I don't hear the temp on the radio.

We went to the Christmas Tree Shop yesterday, and the Christmas items are beginning to crowd the Halloween items. I bought a decoration to hang on the wall at my office (it has a big Merry Christmas painted on it), and a couple boxes of Christmas cards. There were other items I liked, but I restrained myself! But I'll probably go back at some point for one of the countdown figurines! I also got a little plush pumpkin to put on the corner of my desk.

At the office, the short file cabinet next to my desk faces the aisle. I think I'll get some magnetic hooks and hang a couple stockings there in December. I wonder why I never thought of that before! I'm very happy and lucky to work in an office where no one complains if you display Christmas symbols.

Our unspeakably good weather is hanging with us. Really pleasant.
Could continue for a while. (I hope).
We have begun Weekend Part II at 65 degrees here in the capital city.

Good afternoon everyone!

It's a rainy day in Ottawa. The good news? Well, I don't quite have to be outside at all today. Yep. It's another NFL Football Sunday. Week 3 is upon us! Hopefully it will be another successful week, but I always prepare for the worst!

Kim and I had a quiet day yesterday. She went out and purchased some groceries while I stayed home with Simon. He is progressing greatly. Yesterday was a day of good rest and today, he has been fairly active. The cone is still slowing him down, but he's dealing with it very well. We're looking forward to taking it off on Wednesday. I'm sure that he is excited for it, too!

Well, I am currently making some delicious "breakfast." It was a late rise today - 10:30 - but, I was up at 6:30 until around 7:30 to feed Simon. I believe this is our first Sunday morning big breakfast of the NFL Season. It shall be delicious!

Have a great Sunday, everyone! Enjoy the weekend! It may almost be over, but there is still football and QVC - wait, was that just yesterday? - to enjoy! Oh, and there may be a milestone just around the corner, too!

Oh yeah, I have The Weather Channel app on my phone, but the closest actual data point is 30 miles from here. It'll get you close, but it's always a few degrees different.

Still, it's fun to compare temperatures for Bellville and Maggie Valley, NC using the app! :wink:
