A pretty nice day yesterday although the temps were up a bit.
All in all, not bad since the humidity was not high.
Today has begun for us at 65 degrees here, after a short rain last night.

Merry Monday! Last full week of September! Hope you all had a great weekend and ready for the week ahead. I have tons of work to catch up on today. It is really chilly out. I get the feeling the cold is coming in now and will probably stay. Back to thick coats, hats and gloves !

Hi everyone! Hope y'all are well. Been a busy week here and another one coming up.

We have been busy getting ready for Bambina's first birthday. It's coming up this week and we have a party next weekend. Going to be a lot of fun, but we have been doing a lot trying to get ready. I can't wait. But I do think we went a little overboard. She just turns 1 once, so I think we should celebrate.

Celebrating the life of a child is something I think is acceptable to go all out for...right?

Back from Odenwald, a woody area 45minutes away from my place....beautiful there.....my bro and his fam live there and we spend some time with them since Saturday. Played some UNO with Kandice in the evening and browsin the net for kid´s room furniture and also for paint. Gon be painting the living room, bedroom and kandice´s bedroom....it´s about time.

I love spending time on a farm, the fresh air and animals, just love it. Sounds like you had a relaxing visit.
We are going to be painting our living room soon, just have to settle on the color.

Good evening everyone. My youngest came home from college last night, for good. She's going to transfer to a local school. She's been incredibly homesick and struggling with anxiety since we moved her in a few weeks ago. My husband is upset, doesn't think she had enough time to get adjusted. I feel like I did the right thing. I know my daughter better than anyone. We got to FaceTime Friday night and it frightened me when I saw how depressed she was. I'm so exhausted from this whole thing. But I'm glad that she's home. Everything will work out, it always does.
My middle one is sending me pictures right now of a kitten she wants to adopt. My husband will have a fit if I let her bring another one home. She's awfully cute though. They are all so darn cute!
I hope everyone had a nice weekend and has a great week ahead.

There is no reason for your daughter to feel the way she does and continue to stay in college so far away, that is a giant step! It works for some but it's not for everyone. Hopefully she can find a college nearby and stay close to home. It sounds as though you and her both were stressed out over the whole thing. It will all work out and I am happy for you all!

Today is the first day of Autumn but will not feel like it here. Our temps will be mid to upper 80's all week. It's still a cool down compared to what we have had.

Wayne and I did not make it to the Arboretum over the weekend to see the Pumpkin Village. We hope to make it next weekend. We did go to a lot of shops and saw lots of Autumn and Christmas decorations for sale!

It's good to Gabulldawg back!!!!! Welcome home!!!

We are doing our fall cleaning so everything is fresh and good looking for Christmas. The tree spot is picked out!
Going to pick up paint samples for the living room. Planning to do several different shades of green. (we have lots of nooks and crannies)

Bless her heart, being homesick is not easy to get over. I would have done the same thing if it was my Elizabeth.
