Good afternoon folks. Went to the Paul McCartney concert in Atlanta last night with my son and a couple of his friends. It was an awesome show. Paul was onstage 3 hours with no opening act. He preformed 40 songs. The most amazing thing to me was 39 of the 40 songs he wrote or co-wrote and has many many more he could have preformed. I've always been most impressed with performers who write their own lyrics and music. He has even recorded albums where he played all the instruments. It was well worth the 6 hour round-trip drive and getting home at 3:30am. Being at work at 8 this morning was also tough but worth it.

Have a blessed day.

Glad to hear that you had such a good time!!! Hope you sleep great tonight!!!!!

I have the DVD of Miracle On 34th Street with both B&W and colorized versions. I will only watch the B&W version, it captures the feeling better for me for some reason.

I agree! Also, the colorization job that I saw on that was done early on and wasn't so hot.

I have nothing against colorization (when it's done well---see the Goodtimes video release of "March of the Wooden Soldiers"!), but as a film geek, I know that a director working in black-and-white will be lighting and framing his/her shots for maximum effect IN black-and-white. When color is added after the fact, some of the effects are lost, like adding a coat of paint over the natural wood grain of a table. Color is added, but some of the subtleties are eliminated.

You said the words I hate, I cringe at B.F. The only thing I truly hate about the season. cheesy (its only because I have worked in retail for so long, it use to be fun, now it feels like you have to fear for your life while working BF)

We stay home that day and wrap gifts! cheesy

Good morning!
Another cold morning, 33F
I have a doctor appointment today, so I soon be on my way.
Hopefully he will know what to do with my hands.
(Hands and fingers are hurting all the time... )

Hope YOU have a great day!

XO XO [emoji173]️

I hope you get some answers and some relief!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be another rainy day here in central Indy with a high in the mid 60's. Which I have no where to go so that is okay. Not a whole lot going on here today. Mom is having a spell today. Her mouth started dropping last night and this morning she is pretty wobbly. Not as bad as the last couple of times though. So that it's a positive. So I'll just be spending the day working around the apartment and watching her to make sure she doesn't get any worse. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Hoping she gets better instead of worse today. So good that she has you to keep an eye on her.

Good evening!

It's been a lovely day here. My blood donation went great. The nurses are extremely friendly, and so they always make the experience great. :]

Donating blood always makes me sleepy and crave orange juice, so I stopped at the grocery shop on my way back from the clinics and got myself a pack of orange juice. I don't normally drink juice but I had a whole pack this time (don't judge me). ^^ I fell asleep and slept for way too long so I didn't manage to get my uni work done but I feel much more energized in the evening and aim to complete the work I have planned.

Was soooooo sick overnight, I had to stay home from work today. I felt terrible about it because when I went home yesterday, they told me today was going to be really busy. So when I sent my email to my supervisor, I told her to feel free to call Mr. if they need someone to cover me on short notice. (Mr. worked with her years ago, so she knows he's every bit as good as I am.) The office manager called at about 12:45 and he dashed right out to my office, bless him. I'm still feeling pretty rocky, but nothing like it was at 2 a.m. Hoping I'm fit to go back tomorrow. What a week ...

Good afternoon, everyone!

I wish I could say that I had a busy morning, and therefore, forgot to post, but that is not quite the truth. I was just a little distracted, I guess. It's been an easy day of supply work thus far. I had one class and the rest of the day is just library duty. I've become quite a pro at it!

How about that count? Only four weeks until we are all rejoicing in the beginning of the Christmas Season! 28 days away. That means in less than 27 days, we will be gathering on here in real-time to welcome in the beginning fo the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! Until then, it will be quite difficult to fight the urge of listening to Christmas music or partaking in other Christmas related activities... even decorating! I'll do my best to resist the temptation.

It's been a humid, wet, and windy day in Ottawa. The faint yellow leaves are now at the mercy of the wind. Many have now been blown from their six-month surroundings and fluddered to the ground. Temperature-wise, we are currently around the mid 20s/mid 60s with humidex. Quite warm for a mid-October day!

Kim and I should be heading to the mall whenever we are both off work. As I mentioned last night, we're both looking forward to witness some Blossoms. Otherwise, it should be quiet night for us.

Well, I hope you all have had a great Thursday thus far! The weekend is nearly one work day away!
