Good morning MMC!! Hope this finds everyone well!! well I have officially started my xmas shopping! bought a couple of bits for the girls yesterday! only 66 days to go!!

Love going to the shops now, everywhere has put there xmas items out now, and they will expand after they take down all the halloween stuff!!

The girls break up from school for a week on friday, so next weekend we are going to our local farm where they can pick their own pumpkins! we did this for the first time last year and we loved it! Halloween costumes are all bought aswell so just need afew decorations to put up and Im done! cant believe how organised I am this year ha!!

Going to catch up around the forums! have a great sunday everyone!!! x:razz:

I sure miss you all! I hope you forgive me for not keeping up with everyone but know that I think about everyone everyday!

Yesterday morning Wayne and I woke up extra early and headed out to the Arboretum by 7 am before they opened to the public. The sun was not fully up yet so it was cool to walk around the Arboretum fully decorated with pumpkins while still a little dark outside. That place gets very crowded during regular business hours but at this time there were only a couple of people there so we had the whole place to ourselves to walk around and explore. It was really nice!!! We have made a lot of use of our membership and will probably renew next year when it expires.

I will be heading to church soon, then work.

Good evening, friends! It was a beautiful day here! Mid 60's, slight breeze...awesome. Had coffee on the deck in my hoodie and jogging pants and remembered how much I enjoyed doing that. It had been a while since the last time I did that..

Wasn't a good football day for me, but it was a good family day. That's what is the best. Hanging out watching a little TV right now, Bambina digs Monsters, Inc. and it just came on. She is fighting sleep laying right here on me....I love these moments.

I will catch y'all later. The computer screen distracts her and it is past her bedtime. See y'all in the morning!

How bout them Cowboys?! That will be a good football day for you when they win again! I am so happy they are doing so well! When we saw Paul McCartney last week he gave the Cowboys a shout out by saying, just what I said, "How bout them Cowboys"! He didn't even say that the first time I saw him when he performed at the Cowboys Stadium back in 2009. This time he played at an arena and mentioned them. =)

Happy Saturday everyone!!

The weather here is definite fall today! Chilly and tomorrow night we will probably get our first freeze. Going to get some pictures of all the flowers Joan and I planted this year, they are still blooming in mid October so can't really complain. Even the morning glorys are still blooming! Probably won't after tomorrow night though.

Other than that, really enjoying a free weekend and been listening to Christmas music while I work on revamping The Christmas Station, really putting me in a warm holiday mood!

Hope everyone else's Saturday is off to a great start and turns out to be an awesome one!!

Looking forward to hearing the station after you revamp it!

I'm feeling pretty lousy this morning, have a headache again too. Wish I could crawl back in to bed but I have a few errands to run including a trip to the supermarket, I have nothing in the house. Not too much going on after that, I just need to work on some laundry. Maybe I can sneak a nap in later this afternoon, we'll see. Other than that I plan on doing nothing but resting later this evening! I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!!!

It's already more than halfway through Saturday, but … Happy Weekend! We've been on the go today. This is my first chance to sit down and catch up. Then I think I'm going to relax with some tea and British drama (in between laundry loads!).

Moving on to the 2nd day of the weekend and onward through fall in our relentless journey to Christmas Season 2014.

The numbers:
Days to the Season: 25
Days to Christmas Day: 67

Now barely over 3 1/2 weeks remain before the advent of the Season.
(Getting closer and closer, we are!)

Warmer yesterday, by a small margin.
Chilly weater is predicted for today with overnight lows in the 40's and highs barely in the 60's.
(Well after all, it is October!)
We are at 50 degrees here, currently.

Today seems to be the first truly cold fall day here in the New York metro area. Only looking at a high of 52, with a low of 32 and a freeze warning for tonight!

Will be heading into the city today to swing by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Perhaps a walk through Central Park too, I love that park in the fall.
