Good morning, everyone!
Halloween Eve is upon us. Devil's Night should play quite the tricks tonight, too! As for the morning, it has been nice, sunny, and chilly in (and just outside of) Canada's Capital.
After not receiving a teaching call prior to yesterday and then not having a single call from the usual 5-7pm, I thought that I could be spending my Thursday at Passport. Thankfully, I had a call at just before 9:30pm. I have already had one class. I am currently on my prep period and have two more classes to teach. Fortunately, today, there is also an assembly. Excellent!
I hope you are all recovered from the 'Pines yesterday. What a spectacular showing by Carl! That camel just continues to out-do himself. His "haunted wing" was spooky! I was especially frightened when I was attacked by a fired twinkie! It's sad to see that Halloween will no longer be in Carl's theme for this year. Who knows what he will be up to next week?!
Two weeks from today, we will all be rejoicing in the arrival of our favourite Season. Magical. Christmas decorations will soon be everywhere, and Christmas commercials will soon fill out television screens. Has anyone seen one yet? I bet that my first would appear on October 28th, but nothing yet. I've seen plenty of winter commercials with a Christmas-y feel, but nothing else. I can recall a few years seeing Christmas commercials as early as mid-October. It appears that companies are being a little too conservative with it now. Oh well, I'll just have to wait and watch... It could also be that I don't watch a whole lot of TV...
The weekend is almost here. It feels great to see that Friday is only a day away. Until then, have a great Thursday, everyone!
