I see it's been released in the news now so I should be safe to tell you all that Shaylee, my BIL's niece, was taken off of life support and passed earlier this evening.

I'm so sad to hear that ... The attack was so senseless. I pray you and her family will find some peace and comfort.

Wow, you live in the place I can only dream of living in! Me and mom joked about packing up and going back to the mountains last night, so we could enjoy the snow. But we don't have a fireplace, so it would be too cold if the power went out.

Still, it might be worth it. :wink:

We are blessed. It is snowing heavy now. Forecast still saying 6 inches. Snow creme for breakfast.

Happy belated birthday, Momnan.

My daughter hosted a light lunch for my sisters, cousins, brother and of course our little grandsons joined the chaos!
Hubby surprised me with a December trip to see Amy Grant and Vince Gill in concert at the Ryman Theater in Nashville. I've had that on the bucket list, so I'm super excited to go.
Met up with our sons for a little supper at Cafe Hollander in the village of Wauwatosa last night and had some great conversation and laughs.
I felt blessed to have my family and wonderful friends like you and my other MMC buddies thinking of me on my bday!

Merry November!!!

We had a lot of fun last night. My daughter, son-in-law and the kids all went Trick or Treating then they treated me to dinner afterward. We went to an all you can eat pizza place. I can't eat pizza due to food allergies, instead loaded up on lots of salad. I miss pizza!!! Then my daughter was telling me about one type they had that is so tasty and I was saying, "yummy". She said, "I'm sorry mom, I am torturing you, never mind, this pizza is terrible"!!! Ha ha! Then they thought maybe they were being rude taking me there but I said I was fine!!! I just wanted to be with family and don't care where we go. It's not like I wouldn't have restrictions at any other restaurant! Except for the vegetarian restaurant we go to a lot but the kids are not crazy for that one and it's a little pricey.

All the Halloween coffee mugs were packed away yesterday and I got all my Christmas mugs out. Just drinking coffee in my festive mug and surround by my doggies and kitties on the couch while watching Hallmark Christmas movies!!!

All of my outdoor Halloween decorations came down yesterday before we left for Trick or Treating. I knew if I left it up I would get the kids banging on the door for treats! Plan on bringing down the indoor stuff this weekend. I will leave just the Thanksgiving/Fall decor out and little by little adding the Christmas decorations mixed in.
