Good morning MMC! Happy, Happy Friday!! :D

I have to share this picture....
After work yesterday I was getting ready to get my hair cut/colored when I hear Gracie FLLLYING down the steps. I thought "What is she doing??" I walk out into the TV room & there she is with this hat in her mouth doing like dogs do "KILLING IT!!!" CRACKED me up! I had to take a pic & send it to Jim before I chased her all over the house trying to get it from her....YEP, she's a BROWNS fan!!!

It was just too funny that of all days, she chose "The Battle of Ohio" to steal his hat - she has never messed with it before. Love that girl!!!

My cousins from Florida & Pittsburgh are coming into town today. The Pitt peeps are staying til Sunday & Florida til Monday. Will be nice to see them again. We have a get together at my brothers tomorrow night with my other cousins & my family! Fun stuff. Tomorrow morning I'm going with the lake ladies to Christmas open houses in a quaint town about 45 min from here. I'm pretty excited about that!!!! AND today is furniture day! It should be delivered somewhere between 2-3:00! YAY!!! I need to figure out what I'm going to bring to my brothers party & find a time when I'm going to make it yet too... EEK! Lol!

Have a GREAT Friday everyone!!!

:merry:

I wanted to do that to my Bengals hat today.

Have fun with your cousins.

Kim and I did some Christmas Tree hunting tonight. We are torn between two trees. If anyone has an extra second for input, it would be greatly appreciated!

It's only $100 (down from $200). My real issue that it is only 6.5 feet. I want something that is at least 7 feet.
It also has 350 clear incandescent lights and only 825 tips.

I like this tree:

It is a 7 ½ Ft. Pre-Lit Hartford Tree. 550 clear lights. 1,962 tips. $200 (down from $350).

We're both not doing great in the bank account department, so we might have to settle for the $100 tree. Do you think it's a good buy?!

Good morning & Happy Friday, Holiday!
Thank you [emoji172]
When I said goodnight to Adi, he was still struggling with those lights! He had already replaced 35 bulbs :/ How does this madness happen?! They were fine last season. So frustrating, especially when they're pre-lit!
He probably will have to go buy more replacement bulbs to finish it. Can't wait to decorate it!

That has been my biggest fear about buying pre-lit, it seems to be cheaper to buy a few new strands of lights than it is to replace the bulbs. I hope he was able to get it working for you.

You guys are the best, thank you so much.
As much as I love Christmas I will never ever think it's right that the stores are now open on Thanksgiving Day.

It isn't right that the stores are open on Thanksgiving, family days are few and far between these days.

OK!
Head's up, special post people!

Here is the schedule:

Day 5 before the Season (Nov. 08) = Ballcoach
Day 4 before the Season (Nov. 09) = Binger
Day 3 before the Season (Nov. 10) = Christmasstar
Day 2 before the Season (Nov. 11) = Xmas 365
Day 1 before the Season (Nov. 12) = Seawaters

And as can be plainly seen, the series starts TOMORROW!

Wow! I can't wait.

(This is always so much fun each year. Be sure to stick around and enjoy the next six days, Guys!)

Gulp!!!! Tomorrow!!! I better start my first draft.

Even though I usually like to wait until a little closer to Christmas to watch the classic movies...I sure am enjoying The Bishops Wife, Christmas In Connecticut, & Holiday Inn on HMC today!!!

I have never seen The Bishops Wife, or Christmas In Connecticut. I think I DVR'ed CIC today. My wife and I love Holiday Inn, if they were to remake it I don't think they could get away with doing the "Abraham" number though. cheesy That kind of shocked us the first time we saw it.

Thanks! Been decorating for Christmas!!

He was working on the tree when I got home! I bought some more replacement bulbs, and then five minutes later he found the one that was controlling half of the tree! We're back in business!!

Hope your afternoon is going well!

xx

Woooohooo!

Oh, no! Hood isn't making vanilla eggnog this year, OR my second favorite, sugar cookie eggnog. Boy, I will miss that vanilla eggnog. The kind Mr. got me for a treat was not Hood---it was made with no eggs, skim milk, carrageenan, and guar gum. Guess I'll make my own with some Torino vanilla syrup. (Which incidentally is wonderful in warm milk!)

I noticed some flavors were missing this year, as soon as you said Vanilla Egg Nog I thought of the blue carton it came in. I hope you are able to find something close to the vanilla.

Good evening!

Have a MERRY weekend, my friends!!!

Hope you have a great weekend too, Meceka!!!!!

I didn't get to decorate tonight, we went out to dinner instead. Had a heck of a steak, though. cheesy

Glad you enjoyed the steak!!!

I think they are both a pretty good deal for the money. The 7 1/2 foot tree is going to be a lot fuller with that many more tips so I would probably go for it. If money is an issue though, the 6 1/2 foot will get you by for a few years until you can afford one that you really love. It will just take some more time to fluff it and make it appear fuller.

You must see The Bishop's Wife---I know you'll love it! Christmas in Connecticut is fun---I get a kick out of Cuddles Sakall as Barbara Stanwyck's Uncle Felix.

They both look really nice!
I say do what you can afford best. You can't go wrong with either. Just imagine them with ornaments! Beautiful!

Thanks! He did, after a bit of time and effort. He was so frustrated, lol. Bless his heart for making me happy! Decorating it tomorrow!

I'm gonna make my own, with fresh milk, eggs, and vanilla syrup.
