Well hey since you are going to be so close, want to come babysit my niece's tomorrow afternoon while my sister meets with the lawyer? LOL!!!!

Kroger should have them!!! That's where I always get them. If you watch, they even run them buy one get one free some times. I always get them and throw them in the freezer then!!

I know all about that helping a family member babysit so they can meet a divorce lawyer (my niece - horrible horrible situation) so you better believe I would help you out! I hope everything goes very well for your sis (and especially your nieces!) I'll be in Muncie if you need anything! :)

Awesome to know Kroger carries them! I'll keep my eyes peeled!! Thanks a bunch!!! I think this would be a nice extra - just incase someone doesn't like the turkey ribs!!

If it was up to my mom, that's all she would watch. I personally think she is planning to kill me and trying to figure out to get away with it.

stay safe made!

Hopefully it holds off until after you head home!! They said mid afternoon on the news this morning.

Have fun!!

Thanks guys! Last year I had all the ladies here at our house for cinnamon rolls before our trip...I wasn't planning on doing that this year since our house is not totally done, but I decided tonight I would invite them over again...so I texted my next door neighbor - the lady in charge of planning & told her we could meet here for cinnamon rolls in the morning & she said "I was hoping you were going to offer that" They are raising now ~ hopefully they will turn out! xx Meeting here at 8 & off we go... which means I should get to bed...

A local radio station started full-time Christmas music last weekend!

Oh no! Ugh! Stay safe, warm & dry!

Hello friends! Just wanted to stop in and say hi! We've been very busy here at my hou
se and were away all weekend as well. I haven't had much time to get caught up, but hope to Wednesday.

I'll see you all tomorrow! Have a great evening!

Nice to see you sugar!!

Please pray for my brother, he had a TIA today, lost vision in his left eye, which is what sent him to ER in first place. He is a truck driver and happened to be home when this occurred. They let him go home but he is having an anti stroke work up tomorrow and we will know more then.

Many prayers going up for your brother, star! Stokes/TIA's are scary!! Hope he pulls through well!

Good evening!
I decided to run to Kohl's after dinner because I had a $10 coupon that was about to expire. I put it towards a new Keepsake ornament since they carry some there. They had 50% off a lot of Christmas decor. Great deals but I still have a lot of shopping to do for the girls so I had to force myself to leave. I'm going to try and read for a little while, hopefully I won't fall asleep with the book in my hands like I usually do. I hope everyone had a nice day, enjoy the rest of the evening.
Goodnight & sweet dreams!

I have my Kohls $10 coupon along with 30% off burning a hole in my "wallet" LOL! I'm glad you had a nice day!!!

Good evening,

Finally, a day that wasn't too bad at work. I actually left on time for a change. Day off tomorrow, everyone has it off tomorrow due to the Veteran's Day observance. We may go out and do something, just don't know yet.

I finally started working on the first room to get decorating on it. I moved all the furniture to get ready for the tree. Hopefully get all the lights up in there tomorrow. Maybe get the tree up too?!!!

I hope you all had a good Monday

Good night, everyone.

Enjoy your day off! Have fun decorating!! YAY

Special Post Day #4

"So the legend of Saint Nicholas is a lovely and delectable myth, the last living relic of the vanishing world of dreams. The fairies are gone. No little children or maidens watch any longer through the ardent summer nights to catch some echo of the songs. The witches are gone...Santa Claus alone still lingers with us. For Heaven's sake, let us keep him as long as we can.
There are some excellent people who are scrupulous about deceiving their children with such legendary nonsense. They are mistaken. The children learn to see soon enough, too clearly and too well, or to think they do. Ah, leave them at least one thrill of passionate mystery that may linger with them when the years begin to grow too plain and dull and bare. After all, in this universe of ignorance, anything may be true, even our dreams."
-Gamaliel Bradford 1925

We are now two days away from the most magical time of the year, a time we all look forward to starting December 26 the year before. As our friend Ballcoach so eloquently put it, "Santa Claus is real."
In this season we have been looking forward to, I am a little hesitant to go through it as I usually do. My oldest is 9 years old, and I worry that this may be the last year that Santa Claus may exist for him. He was very skeptical last year, and a lot of questions were beginning to come. He would ask very vague questions, and we would answer how we could without ruining it for him. He wants to believe, you can see it, but I have a feeling that peer pressure is getting to him, and we will be telling him the everything sooner rather than later.

So this year let the magic flow, let Santa be the big guy to the children for as long as you can. This magic from my youth has made me such a lover of Christmas throughout my life that I want my kids to have that same feeling that I still get, the smile I get as Christmas gets closer. That feeling that fills your heart during this time of year. The warm smiles from strangers. The anticipation of Christmas morning that makes it so hard to fall asleep, and wakes you up before the sun comes up. Christmastime is nearly upon us, the build up of the season is culminating, get the decorations out, get the lights out. Make some cookies, and eat them as Santa would. Most of all share it with your loved ones.

Make the most of this season, enjoy it, and try not to let it go too fast. I look forward to celebrating this time of year with all of you again.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Love your post xmas!!! I have the "hard to fall asleep" thing going on right now! I hope you can help your son believe forever!!! :-D

Lots of prayers for him, Star. Keep us updated.

Merry Tuesday!!!

Have a wonderful day everybody! :hi:

As usual I can't seem to post or thank people without being redirected to the platinum page.

Bradmac - Praying for your friend's little girl. I completely understand. When it is a child , any surgery is worrying even if it is only minor.

Chrismasstar - Thank you for the post . It was so well thought of and I agree with it all :)

Snow - Have you finished your decorating . Have I missed photos? Hope you will start a thread with your photos :)

Brent - Pleased to hear you all found the perfect tree!

Must dash but will be back for special post ofcourse!

I have finished the decorating, with the exception of my village, which is a weekend long process. Not sure when I can get to it! Hopefully within a couple weeks [emoji319]

I plan to post pics & start a thread as soon as I have some extra time. I was decorating through Sunday night, lol.

Hope you can get MMC squared away soon, that is frustrating.

Hope you & yours have a merry day, Sam!

P.S. Xmas already posted the special post! [emoji173]️
