Good Morning MMC !
I had to look up a few more pictures for my cake so I am still on the computer even though I need to get off ! Running to the store for a couple of things.
Did a quick read though the posts so glad your feeling better, happy birthday, would love to see bears again, but not to close, have fun with the turkeys, careful in the snow, enjoy your shopping and hope the car repairs are all covered by insurance. Everyone else have a fantastic day !
oh, Seawaters will be on later with the special post, for some reason she has trouble typing in a moving car. LOL
Look forward to reading her post.

Well I did it. With high's in the mid 30's for the rest of the week and low's getting down into the teen's, I decided it was time to turn on the heat. Boo!!!! I hate having to do it before thanksgiving.
This being remembrance day, we had a moment of silence at the store where all staff stopped what they were doing and reflected on the amazing sacrifices made by so many men and women so we could live free.
It was great, except for the customer in front of me when it was announced. He tried to make me keep working, loudly declaring that he did not agree. I said I did, took a step back and bowed my head. I could hear him continue to rant about how he was German and they lost so he had nothing to be thankful for. I was obviously for war since I wore a poppy indicating war and lost blood. Any country that believed in Jesus should not glorify war. This was a waste of time and he was not happy. When the time was over I rang him though and gave him his change, saying nothing to him. I was deeply offended. He then declared me rude for not thanking him for his business.
After he left the other customer just shook her head and said wow, really?
I wondered why he was living in Canada if his home country was so great.
Anyway, I took a time out to settle down.
When I came home I found this posted on facebook and want to share it with him, but he is not here so I will share with you instead
Merry Morning! Happy Pines Day!
Day before the season! Wow. Are we really here? I remember in January how far away it seemed to be.
Tonight is going to be rocking at the Pines!!!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Good Morning, my weary fellow travelers.
It's nearly over.
The long journey is almost complete.

Day 1 before the Season = Seawaters
The weather is better. Warmer and dry.
Even warmer for today only, then the first day of Christmas Season 2014 will be seasonably chilly.
We have begun this final Season count day at 50 degrees.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!
And don't forget to pay a visit to the 'Pines this evening before you join us here.
I know Carl will have a slam-bang finish for the last open house before the Season.
I haven't posted in so long, I hope you are all well! :
We had Bonfire night in the UK last week and it was such a wonderful night, lots of fireworks, great food and mulled wine. The next day it was like Christmas had exploded all over every shop! Decorations were out, all the festive food, Christmas music playing... I just love this time of year and really don't want it to go by too fast.
Let's make Christmas 2014 the best one yet!
Good morning, MMC!
We are expecting snow on & off throughout the week here, it's a white Christmas already! It is currently 11 degrees, brrr! Think I'll make some coffee, turn on the tree, and sit by the fire.
Wishing you all a blessed & beautiful day!

Good morning!! I'm going to jump in quick again to say "Happy Hump & Pines Day!!!" before I read allllllll the posts I have to catch up on! Lol
Let me start by saying.... It's Flurrying outside!!!!!!!!! Whoop Whoop! :???:
We had such a fun day yesterday. There were 8 of us that went, which is a smaller crowd than normal, but we had a blast. The stores were crazy busy! Kohls had such good deals... as we were walking in one of the neighbors said yesterday was supposed to be better than Black Friday at Kohls b/c on top of the Veterans Day sales, we had 30% off (which they usually don't have 30% off available on BF) ~ it was a zoo in there. Then my sister texted that she was at our local Kohls here & she said it was worse than Black Friday. LOL! Of course I spent too much... My neighbor helped carry my packages in last night & my hubby says "I see that I don't want to see the credit card bill" Right on buddy!!![]()
Have a GREAT day everyone!! I'm off to read....
Good morning, buddy!!! Try to stay warm! I can't wait for tonight! Party!!!
Hope you have a great day!
Good morning!
I straightened up the house, started laundry and put dinner in the crock pot so far. I'm heading out soon to run a few errands and then I'm going to the mall to do some shopping, I want to take advantage of my day off. I picked up a few things yesterday but the stores were too crowded because of Veterans Day so I figured I'd go back today. Hopefully it won't be so bad. I have so much to do to get ready for Thanksgiving and my daughters birthday is coming up as well. Such a busy time. I love it though!
I'll pop back in this afternoon, I hope everyone has a great day!
And finally, a belated Wednesday hello to everyone.
(Today I got the day right. Still wish it was Thursday, though.)
Good morning, friends! Not much going on here today. Just doing some housework and DS and I are watching Hallmark/HMC.
I'm looking forward to tonight! It should be a great party!
Hope you all have a great day!

Have fun shopping today!!!
Happy Wednesday!!!
Have fun hanging with DS and watching hallmark, friend!!!
Woohoo!!! Hope it doesn't get the roads all nasty again!!!!
Have a great day, Star!!!!!!
Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a cold one here with a high in the mid 30's. We are sitting at 31 right now. I don't have to many plans for today. Just want to work on a few projects and make out a grocery list for the store tomorrow. I may do some baking too. I have some apples that need to be used up, so I'm thinking of making some kind of coffee cake with them. Then tonight, I hear there is some kind of party or something going on. So I might try to make an appearance at it. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Wednesday morning all. One more day. Now that we are here, sure wish time would slow down.
Still too warm here but the cold front hits us tonight and much better temps are forecast for the next 2 weeks. Should not get out of the 30s on Friday. cheesy
Wife and I are getting the house ready for this weekend. Ethan is bringing 3 friends home from college. All 3 are city folks so our area will be a culture shock for them. We may get snow Saturday night so the kids could get a taste of parking at the bottom of the mountain and walking up.
We had a bear in the yard a couple of nights ago. They are trying to fatten up for the winter. The kids hope to see one but I'm not wild about bears in the yard. I usually fire my shotgun into the ground to scare them off. You don't want them to lose their fear of people.
Have a blessed day all.
.Good morning!

Have a GREAT day everyone!! I'm off to read....
Good afternoon everyone!
We've nearly done it. The Christmas Season begins tonight at the stroke of midnight. The time which we have waited for 300+ days is about to release its magic over the entire world. We are so close, friends.
It was an interesting morning for me. I was awoke by my new alarm clock (Simon) at about 6:20. He was hungry. After feeding him, I searched for a job for about 50 minutes. I turned down two because they were too far - and for elementary schools - then I received one for Carleton Place, which is about 30 minutes outside of Ottawa. The only problem? The school starts at 8:10. I wasn't able to leave the house until 7:45. I drove quite quickly and managed to be in the class by 8:12. Not bad! I really wanted to work today and was happy to receive a call for a school that has quite good students.
I'm a little sleepy today. We had hockey last night at 10:15. I did not get home until about 11:45. It always takes me a while to wind down after hockey, so I didn't fall asleep until about 12:30 (I think). Oh well. At least we won our first game last night. We were playing against easily the worst team in the league but only won 2-1. Their goal stood on his head. He played great! I had fun.
Other than the gym, I do not believe I have much going on tonight. This should set up perfectly for the traditional realtime countdown. I look forward to seeing you all at the 'Pines for one last pre-season hurrah as we join on here to countdown the hours, minutes, then seconds to the Christmas Season. Each year, it is a magical feeling. And, each year, I look forward to ringing in the Season with the same songs as I have been for the past decade. Tradition is a wonderful thing, isn't it?
Anyway, again, I look forward to seeing you all tonight! The magic of the Christmas Season is nearly upon us. We are now less than 12 hours away. Until then, I hope you all have a great 'Pines Day! I hear Carl has created a new dance to commemorate the unison of 'Pines Day and the Christmas Season. I can't wait!!
