T-minus 11 days until the Christmas lights go on at my house! Black Friday can't come soon enough! (Well, Thanksgiving comes first, of course!)

Good Sunday evening, my Christmas friends!

We just got home from an afternoon at mom's. She made lasagna good enough to make Garfield cry!

After dinner I went out to check the StealthCam, but something had messed up, and it didn't take any pictures all week. Oh, well. I made sure it was working and I re-set it. I got a few big bucks last week. I'll try to remember to post a couple.

yum, have not had lasagna for ages, maybe I will whip a batch next week, most likely not as good as your moms, but it will be ok .

Morning! Just changed all the sheets and threw some laundry in and about to go for a chilly run. I love running when it's cold outside! I pass the time looking for Christmas decorations!

We went to the mall yesterday and man was it packed!!! We drove around the parking lot for a good ten minutes before we got s far away spot! It was like Christmastime before online shopping! I loved the hustle and bustle and the kids talked to Santa and mrs. Claus.

Not sure what's on the agenda today. Would like to go to ikea to grab a floor lamp I need before I host Christmas but we will see!

looking at this picture I realized I totally forgot to put the ornaments on the tree when I set it up!! I wondered why they said the topper was to plain, rrrrr

I'm getting so excited to put my tree up too!! I was thinking about doing that today but when I woke up with a fever/sore throat, it was definitely out. But I feel better now than I have all day ~ must be this website! :smile: I'm half tempted to start going through my lights!

Good afternoon MMC! Hope you all are having a great Sunday!!!

I am whooped today. I helped my friend bartend at the American Legion bar last night so our hubbys could go to the high school football game - she had DJ Bingo down there - my gosh were we BUSY!!! The place was packed after the game. I haven't bartended like that for years...wore me out!!! :lol: It was fun though ~ "just like riding a bike" :smile: I got to talk to so many people I haven't seen for awhile. Good time!

It's starting to look like could snow soon! xx

Hello everyone! First congrats to all the folks getting snow...we are cold in the 20's but sunny and no snow in the forecast until tues the 25th! My baby sister and bro in law are coming to my house and Brandi's folks are coming in from Boston so I pray no snow storms are going to hinder their travels.

I have to admit friends, that I have been in no Christmas mood this year...I am trying I really am but so far no go. I guess it's a lot of things without turning this post into a therapy session, but turning 40 in 2 weeks has got me bummed...not a lot of ppl may not understand I and I get that, but just trust me it's an issue for me..but anyway I have enjoyed the Halloween fall season, and I get a little sad when the leaves are all gone from the trees. In the years I have been a member here I have always had the spirit and so I practically lived online here...so I just hope between now and December I will have the spirit!!! Hope everyone is hunkered down for this winter storms that is plowing through the Midwest,Ohio valley,Northeast today and tomorrow...and then the artic air that is following!!

Back home from my Niece's birthday party!!! I think she enjoyed it and she got lots of good stuff. Now I'm going to watch the race and then I'll be back after it's over to catch up!!! (I'll be catching the packer game while the race is in commercial hoping to catch Snowflake on tv)
