Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be another cool one with a high right around 30 degree's. At least it's not going to be windy like the other day. I woke up to my toilet deciding that it wanted to take an hour for the tank to fill back up after you flush it. Oh the joy. So I tore it all apart and now I'm just waiting on the maintenance man to bring me some new inner workings so I can put it back together. I also need to work on a few more things around the apartment today. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

I'll be back in a bit to get caught up.

Looking forward to the weekend and to Thanksgiving and the days off next week! Just gotta get through today and then 3 days next week and we're there!

It's cold again here after a slight warm-up yesterday. It's been so clear and beautiful with not a cloud to be seen the last few days, if it was little bit warmer it would be impeccable. Oh well, it's only going to get colder!

I'm so excited for the Macy's parade Thanksgiving morning, then some football and food. Can't wait!

I woke up today thinking about how much Christmas shopping I still have to do but I think that will have to go on the back burner until after Thanksgiving. I have so much to do to get ready for Thanksgiving since I'm hosting. I also have my daughters birthday coming up in a few days. I better get moving, I have a really long list of things that need to be done. I'll pop back in this afternoon, I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day. Happy Friday!

Hi Everyone! Sorry for not being around much the last 2 weeks, but Santa recently gave me a present of an opportunity that for a Christmas enthusiast and vintage item collector I had to capitalize on right away!. A well established antique store that is owned by a friend of Joan and I's offered us the opportunity to open a 2nd location in a very high traffic area and I was aboard immediately! In the last two weeks I have sorted through, researched, priced and transported thousands of vintage Christmas items, my 2 car garage is now a warehouse for the store, and our store is up and running!

We are expanding into a larger spot first week of December too! Good thing too, because my garage is overflowing with still yet to be sorted Christmas and vintage treasures!

Anyway just had to share this incredible project that I have been taking on the last 2 weeks! I hope everyone is in great spirits and doing great on this week before Thanksgiving!!

Elizabeth enjoyed her birthday, texting with her friends on her new phone LOL. After her dance rehearsal we took her to see Mockingjay Part 1, and she loved that, too.

Her latest production starts tonight, and goes Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. After the Sunday performance, the whole family is taking her out for her birthday. Boy, she is stretching her birthday into a birthWEEK!

Lunch today with my mom & my brother.

Good morning everyone! Just about to start breakfast for Brandi and get her going....we had a low of 30F not too impressive compared to the rest of the country! But it is still late Fall...I ended up cancelling last weekend's ski trip b/c most of the 3 resorts close to home still had a lot of ice on the trails v/s real snow..so I am going to wait until thanksgiving weekend and take my baby sister and bro in law with me. My inlaws are going to go too...they are use to skiing in the northeast so the rockies will be a nice change of pace for them...well I am about to make French toast and coffee maybe that will make it easier to wake her up!! Have a great Friday everyone!!!!

Friday hello ---SO glad it's Friday. It has been such a crazy, tense week. I have a lot to catch up with this weekend. Including checking my list and seeing what I still need to buy and make before Christmas. I like to be mostly done before Thanksgiving. We do a lot of mailing right after Thanksgiving.
