It's snowing again ! Nothing like variety in weather one day -20 the next +13 now back to 0 .
Canadian weather, never boring !

If I am 2 potato halves short on Thanksgiving Day, the in-laws will have to take that up with Gracie! :lol: Tonight I'll be off to the store right after work to hopefully finish up any & all grocery shopping, then more prep...probably more cleaning than cooking tonight. Booo!

I am in CT and we are supposed to have 3-6 or 4-8 inches of snow starting tomorrow! Ending early Thurs morning so I am hoping everyone can still come...I have a 27lb turkey that needs to be eaten..cheesy

I am headed out to the store tonight for a couple of last minute things hopefully will not be too bad but I am sure it will be.

I have the Christmas music going while I work..puts me in such a festive mood!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be another chilly day here with a high in the mid 30's. At least it's not near as windy. I've managed to get a few things done this morning but still have a lot more cleaning to do and I want to make up my macaroni salad. I like it better after it's sat for a few days and the flavors all mix. I also need to run a few errands. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Thanks!! I think it will all go fine. For some reason I'm not worried/stressing about it this year! It is what it is...& it will be fine! Usually I'm running around like a mad woman trying to make sure everything is perfect...but with just about everything being new in the house this year, it's pretty much ready... I do have some cleaning to do in the basement...but just the kids that will be down there...and they don't care. :lol: They just want the air hockey table, foosball table & Wii!

I have made it!!! I am off tomorrow, Wednesday is pretty much just going through the motions. This by far has been the roughest November I have ever had, but my team helped get us through. I am, as I have been all month, beat. Tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day here, so with the big snow storm coming I NEED to get my outdoor decorating done. I am winding down watching A Christmas Carol (1951), but I will not make it much longer.

Good morning mmc! I could not sleep and needed to feed James(who turned 2 last week I forgot to mention!) anyways after watching 10 minutes of the news I decided to log on here because I need(and it seems the whole USA)needs some Christmas spirit right about now! we are at 29F mild degrees and most of the snow on our block is gone except for the shaded areas! My inlaws from the Boston area are flying into Salt lake tonight and I hope they get out before the snow starts in Boston..I have to admit I have been terrible at keeping up with the weather this year. But anyways good Tuesday morning everyone!!! I hope you all are doing terrific!

Oh man it just struck me that one month from today is Christmas day! Wow make it slow down someone! Our local radio top 40 pop station will start on Dec1st playing Christmas music...I am happy about that but I think they should have started this week at least!

It really does need to slow down!!!! It's crazy how fast this year is flying by!!!

the wind continues to blow and rattle my windows, temps have gone down and all the snow is gone.

4 more days and my daughter gets the keys to her new apartment and I get a weekend of work taking all her things over there. She is so excited, and I am so happy for her. Plus I get my living room back and can start to decorate !!! Yeah !

Good morning, everyone!

Happy ONE MONTH until Christmas! It's incredible to think that one month from today, we will all be sitting around our beautifully decorated Christmas Trees with our families and loved ones, sharing the joy that we look forward to all year. It's also incredible to think that we still have one month left of this wonderful Christmas Season. The signs are everywhere. I'm hoping to see a bunch more today!

Today is another day off. I have work tomorrow. Hoping to have the rest of the workweek fill up tonight/tomorrow as well. Kim is off today, too, so we will be able to do everything during the day - when there is no/limited traffic rather than tonight.

It is going to be another windy day in Ottawa. Yesterday, we had wind at about 25mph and gusts that reached nearly 40mph. It should be a little less today, but the trees are still shaking!

Not much else is happening here. I am waiting for Kim to awaken and then we can figure out our plan for the day. Hopefully she wants to get everything done earlier rather than later. We'll see though!

Looking at a heavy workload today. The workplace has planned an office Thanksgiving (mostly potluck) for later today, but I will probably have to work through it ... it'll be difficult trying to concentrate on proofreading with the noise of the party going on. Tomorrow looks like it could be heavy, too. The office will close early, but usually people finish their work early---then leave it on my desk as they leave ... I have to stay to finish that work. That worries me, because a snowstorm is supposed to start late morning/early afternoon tomorrow, and I'm not good at driving on snowy roads, especially in pre-Thanksgiving traffic. I hope today and tomorrow won't be as difficult as they're shaping up to be.

Finally I can say....the decorations are up....mostly....some small things and there....and that´s it......I must say....I am not the most talented one when it comes decorating....but I still like it
