Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good early morning here mmc! I had a good thanksgiving but must have eaten too much for yesterday I had my chronic pancreatitis act up. It's getting worse everytime I eat poultry or spicey foods. I first got it when I was overseas in Iraq and ever since then I really can't overeat like I use to be able to do. Im telling you this middle age thing sux especially when I have tried so hard to take care of myself. Anyway I can't sleep tonight. The weather is plain nuts about 40F when it should be 15F I may get dressed and go to Walmart to see what is going on there! good night or good morning!

I wish all of Y´all a great Saturday Morning!!!

It´s a cloudy day today and not much to be done....just the regular household chores...and that´s that.
Maybe visiting a smalltown Christmas Market today...not sure about it, yet.

Oh and it seems that I caught the cold now....lol....my nose is itching...usually the first sign for a cold. Nothing serious...a cold is normal that time of the year....so all is cool

Good morning and Happy Saturday!
Not too much going on here today, I just need to go food shopping this morning. I plan on spending the rest of the weekend decorating for Christmas so my husband and I will start to take down the boxes this afternoon. So exciting!

It is a chilly 12 degrees this morning, I don't plan on going outside to do any decorating with having to cook the turkey.



I also woke up not feeling too well, I didn't sleep well and feel exhausted. So much to do, I can't afford any downtime right now.

Hello!!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Today is my husband's work's annual holiday open house. He manages a microbrewery so they invite their customers and the public to come to try the beers and raise money and goods for no kill animal shelters. So today it's just me and the kids! I am considering braving the crowds and hitting a few (usually less crowded) strip malls to pick up a few things. Wish me luck, lol!!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!!! We are in for a warm up today with a high in the mid 50's!!!! Yay!!!! Unfortunately it's also going to rain this afternoon. Oh well. I don't need to be outside for anything anyways. I do need to run to the grocery this morning though. Then hopefully I can start on some more Christmas decorating this afternoon. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Good morning, friends! Hope your Saturday is off to a great start! We had a blast yesterday and wrapped up last night by watching all the Christmas cartoons that came on TV. Today, we are just going to relax at home and play outside. It's supposed to be warm today, so we aren't going to miss the chance to get outside!

Have a nice Saturday Evening everyone!!!!

We came back from my brother´s village....they had their local Christmas Market....had a bratwurst, then a Mulled Wine, followed by sharing roasted chestnuts with Kandice.
Now we are home....Im running the regular virus scans through my laptop and check the internet for more Christmas presents.
While doing that, Kandice is playing games and puzzles and we are watching a Christmas Show on TV with singers (some good ones....most of em terrible German singers...my opinion....lol) singing Christmas songs....I usually never watch those type of shows....just on Christmas...all the cheesy stuff is cool for me

We came back from my brother´s village....they had their local Christmas Market....had a bratwurst, then a Mulled Wine, followed by sharing roasted chestnuts with Kandice.
Now we are home....Im running the regular virus scans through my laptop and check the internet for more Christmas presents.
While doing that, Kandice is playing games and puzzles and we are watching a Christmas Show on TV with singers (some good ones....most of em terrible German singers...my opinion....lol) singing Christmas songs....I usually never watch those type of shows....just on Christmas...all the cheesy stuff is cool for me

Well my Bulldawgs lost in overtime...That is just the way the cookie crumbles.... through thick and thin I will always be their biggest fan...shoot I remember some years back in the 90's we won 3 games a season and I still would paint my face and body at the Saturday games. So for the season we are 9-3 and in the region we are 6-2. I have no idea if we qualify for a bowl game or not..I don't know how they figure any of that I don't even know who is playing next week in the SEC championship. I guess I will look at that later...now to watching some Christmas movies to put me in a a fabulous mood! have a great day everyone!

Thanksgiving Weekend.
Yes, the Thanksgiving holiday has depth too! Only half over.
Hope you enjoy the remainder whether or not you still have leftovers.

But the count goes on:

(Really starting to close in!)


Cold again yesterday but out we went on Black Friday, although not early.
And fortunately, the crowds were thinner thanks to Black Thursday.
Today is warmer but we still started out at 30 degrees. It has currently risen to 50
(No rain, though.)

Busy again today … bookkeeping in the morning (including troubleshooting the computer's backup drive and printer---ugh), making up some gift packages for mailing, having lunch, then driving out to my office to put up decorations around my desk, 'cause it'll be too busy this week to do it during working hours. Then back here to catch up with you folks. Then I'm hoping to hit the couch to do some crochet and watch some Christmas video. (Anybody planning to watch Grumpy Cat's Christmas movie tonight? cheesy ) We didn't screen any film Thursday or yesterday---Mr. is wrapping and packaging gifts in our screening area for the time being. Maybe tonight or tomorrow.
