Welcome, Snow!!!

Busy again today … bookkeeping in the morning (including troubleshooting the computer's backup drive and printer---ugh), making up some gift packages for mailing, having lunch, then driving out to my office to put up decorations around my desk, 'cause it'll be too busy this week to do it during working hours. Then back here to catch up with you folks. Then I'm hoping to hit the couch to do some crochet and watch some Christmas video. (Anybody planning to watch Grumpy Cat's Christmas movie tonight? cheesy ) We didn't screen any film Thursday or yesterday---Mr. is wrapping and packaging gifts in our screening area for the time being. Maybe tonight or tomorrow.

Good evening,

Thanksgiving 2.0 went very well, everyone was raving about the turkey. I am now the official "turkey maker" for the whole family. That is big deal for me, my mother in law has been the turkey maker but she cannot do it anymore. So the torch has been passed to me. I was able to get a short nap after the meal, dang tryptophan. cheesy
My father in law was a little disappointed we didn't have all of our decorations up yet. I usually have everything done by now but I am so far behind this year.


Going to watch Christmas With The Kranks now and head to bed in a Nyquil stupor soon enough.

Home from work at last , missed the 6pm bus so had to sit and wait a half hour for the next one brrrrr. By the time I got home the company Christmas party dinner would have been done so I reluctantly stayed home where it is nice and warm.
Had dinner and put a pan if brownies in the oven to bake.

Oh I love that movie! I have an odd fascination with Jamie Leigh Curtis that started with the original "Halloween" movie she played in back in 1978 so I follow and adore all of her movies...Now I think I will put that DVD in after Clark Griswald blows up his sewer!

MerryCarey every time I read a post about you crocheting it always brings back such fond memories of my favorite Aunt Nancy who lived far away from us as we were growing up, but I can still see her sitting on the couch with her half glasses on and chatting with us at Christmas time and crocheting so fast it was so amazing to see her get an afghan complete... btw I still have about 20 or so she did for me to this day....my baby sister who is visiting us this weekend also crochets and I just went up to her today and hugged her for carrying on such a great tradition...I bet you are great at it, and I bet it relieves so much tension!!!
