Christmas Countdown - 2014

Well, just as I was leaving they pulled in & sure enough they were out to eat. AND had dessert. Lol! But while I was there my sister came, then my nephew, then my other sister, then my BIL ~ he had lots of visitors & everyone got a piece of pineapple upside down cake! (still warm)

Thanks, Buddy!!!! Shopping is done, box is mailed, dishes are done, and laundry is started. Now I'm kicking back with a 32oz glass of something called Mega Energy that they just added to the fountain at the gas station. I might not sleep again until this weekend!!! LOL!!!!

Good morning MMC! Not much going on around here today. Just work. Ho hum! After work today I'm going to bring the meal over to my friend. After I realized there was gluten in the gravy packet I put in the Pot Au Feu ~ I'm now also going to make "baked chicken" for my friend & her daughter who are both gluten free. Last night I also made some PB balls, dipped in chocolate for them since they have no gluten in them. I really do feel for anyone who has to be GF, b/c it is a bit of a pain! Lol! I know there are bigger sections in stores now with GF products, but I didn't have much in my house to work with! Soooo - hopefully all will be good. Other than that, no major plans for the evening except laundry. Yuck!

It's been really busy again. Nancy's mom seems to be improving a bit, so we're feeling better about that. We're still trying to get decorated and get shopping done. And the IT guys are in our plant offices upgrading the servers, so the office is upside down.

I hope you feel better soon, Dawg!!!! They were talking on our news the other night that the flu this year has morphed into a strand that isn't covered by the flu shot. So they said that it will be less than 50% effective this year.

Oh no Dawg! Hope you get better quick!! One of our salesmen were in this morning & he said he was sick for 3 days - felt like the flu but it's not. There is some other virus going around! Whatever it is, I hope you get over it fast!!
