Christmas Countdown - 2014

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Christmas is upon us, and I'm not ready. That's the way it always is, though LOL! I have to run out tomorrow with the kids to pickup something from them to Nancy, and I thought I'd get a few more stocking stuffers/fillers.

Nancy spent the night last night with her mom in the hospital. She said it went really well, and her mom is still improving. That's great to hear, but I still don't sleep well when Nancy's not there. Maybe I can catch up on some sleep tonight.

Lunch today with my mom & brother, and the kids will be with us since they're out of school at noon.

My last workday before Christmas---it's a crazy one (two RFP responses due by 4 p.m.---they have barely started writing the second one ...), but when it's over, it's over, and I'll be celebrating Christmas 100%. Bring on the movies, music, cookies, cocoa, eggnog, and other festive things!

I, for one, will not miss this year and will be glad when it comes to a close. I don't see a big change in the way that 2015 will treat me but hope remains. My thoughts are with anyone struggling, and my prayers. And again, Merry Christmas!

Wow, is it already December 19th? My goodness how the time is flying by so quickly. Now is when I really wish where a minute would last an hour and a week would last a day and so forth, just so as I can spend much more time around this Holiday season.

Be that it may, I am so happy that Christmas is near, where the season, the Love and the Christmas spirit shines in everything.

We went up to Longwood gardens last night, it was just so wonderful, the flowers, the trees, the Christmas decorations were beautiful and the time we spent up there was really nice.

I'm hoping everyone is doing well, since I have not been here very much with being so very busy every single evening at home and every day at the office. I hope you all have a wonderful day~

My sister and I had 'girls night out' last night. We went to Watson's Garden Center Christmas Wonderland and Valley View Farms, both on York Rd. Then we ate at Famous Daves, and chattered. We had such a good time! Usually when Hubby takes me to Watsons and Valley View, we're a little rushed. His heart is in the right place, but he gets bored quickly. Sis and I were a good hour and a half at each place, and then a good while eating dinner, too. What a good time we had! Oh, and there were alpacas at Watson's. I wonder if they are distant relations of Carl?

Merry Friday all!

Hope all is good with you guys! Just finished watching Polar Express Hoping to go into hyper Christmas mode this weekend lol. I will be working on Sunday but we are all off next week so it's going to be great. Tomorrow there we are going to the local town Christmas fayre. There will be real reindeer!

The weather has been horrible here. I still have some bits to pick up and all my wrapping to do. I am also still waiting on a few deliveries. Other than that I think I am ready ...almost lol!

Well thoughts and prayers with you all . It's been so hectic for us all , I am sure we will be able to catch up more soon.
