Well today isn't off to a good start. My mail never comes until at least 1 o'clock, apparently while I was in the shower though, they tried to deliver my 2 boxes from amazon that I have been waiting on. Since I didn't answer, they took them back and now I can't pick them up until Friday. So there goes pretty much all of my mom's and aunt's Christmas gifts.

On the bright side, that means that I am done wrapping!!!!

Ugggh, That figures! Maybe then that will give you an excuse to have to celebrate Christmas again after the packages re-arrive... Hmmmm, 2 Christmas dinners, I kind of like that idea!:-D

Thank you very much, sugar.
We truly appreciate the prayers! [emoji320]

:rudolph:I stepped out real quick and took a short trip to Home Depot and to the grocery store. Zach wanted to make lemon cookies, so I got him some lemon juice. Isn't that a great thing, a 22 year old (male), that wants to bake Christmas cookies for his mom! And me, I'll think of any excuse to go to Home Depot; LOL!!!!!

While I was at the grocery store, I picked up some steammed shrimp and some smoked salmon. I'm yhe only one that likes the smoked salmon, but that's ok, it's a treat for me....I just turned on AMC and White Christmas is on at the moment, I sure wish that this rain would turn into some sort of frozen precipitation, just like in the movie. Wow, It's 2 pm and the day is sliding pass sooo quickly.

What is everyone else up to at the moment?:tree:

That's very sweet of your son to make cookies for his mom! Enjoy your afternoon!

Good Christmas Eve afternoon, everyone!

We're almost there. We are oh, so close. As we've counted down these days, it's hard to believe we're nearly at Christmas 2014. I've had a lot of fun this year, but I really wish this Season could continue.

Anyway, I just finished watching Elf for the first time this Season. I've somehow managed to avoid it until today. It was as magical as ever. As per tradition, I will be watching A Muppet Christmas Carol - for the second time this Season - in a couple hours.

I hope everyone managed to finish all their Christmas shopping. And, of course, I hope you're all ready for Santa's Big visit tonight. I have yet to turn on Kringle Radio, but I am sure all the festivities are so exciting!

I am going to read some posts now and see what you're all up to. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning!!

HEY! Guess what?
It's CHRISTMAS EVE!!

Good Heavens. How did that happen?
Didn't the Season just start the day before yesterday?

Days to Christmas Day: 1

(Yep. It's official.)

Rain, Rain, Ran.
When will it stop?
I expect a sinkhole to open up under our house any minute.
And cold, too. Not out of the 40's all day yesterday.
More rain predicted for today but it should be warmer.
Right now, we are at 42 degrees here, with a light drizzle falling.

OK, Folks.
Christmas Eve at the 'Pines!
Carl has announced that the Inn has done such good business this year, they have exceeded their financial expectations. As a result, ALL the fire twinkies (green and red frosted ones, of course) will be free with all the sweet southern iced tea you can drink. (Or, if it's too cold, hot tea.)
Christmas classic movies will be running all day in the Inn's theater and a sumptuous Christmas dinner feast is planned with all the trimmings.
(Of course, the decor speaks for itself and for Carl's crew's good Seasonal taste.)
The entertainment? That's a mystery. Not even a subtle leak this time from Carl.
You must come to see.......and I wouldn't miss it if I were you!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, a Perfect 'Pines Day and an Exciting Eve of Christmas, Everybody!

Sounds like Carl's Christmas Eve 'Pines Day is one that we can't miss! Great job, Carl. Really looking forward to spending time with everyone tonight!! Merry Christmas.

:tree:Great idea! I really like that tradition~ I can relate to having someone working that 11-7 shift....It's a stinker for Christmas but hopefully, at least you will get a shift differential and holiday pay.

Merry Christmas to you Sugar!!!! :rudolph:

I will get both pays, yes. I do like working 11-7 though, because at least I will hopefully be home by 8. I get done around 7:30 and I have 30 minutes of travel time, so God willing, I'll be home by then.

The next couple of years, since DH's schedule is that he works every 4 days, he works Christmas Eve and Christmas, but that's just the way it is. We make it work. That's the joys of us working in the fields we do, but we love what we do!

Merry Christmas to you, Xmastidings!

Me too! It always brings a tear to my eye. I love the message of Christmas Spirit.

No tickets yet. We may be waiting until the last minute... unless my dad has something planned I don't know about. It could be a Christmas present! I am still keeping an eye on the prices. They are going down, at least. I suppose you won't be making the trip to Lambeau this weekend?

Merry Christmas, friend!

Yes, it is! We screened our 16mm print last night. A great treat!

More 16mm tonight! It's a tradition here.

Mr. picked up a bucket of chicken and some sides from KFC that we'll be working on shortly, then the Christmas Eve movie night begins!

Sounds great! Enjoy!

It is fantastic. I love them, too. I could watch them all day and still have a smile on my face!

Sounds like it is time for the children of Eastern Europe to go to bed?! Whoa!!
