Merry Christmas Eve, my Christmas friends!

It's a weird Christmas this year with Nancy's mom still in the hospital. After I left work yesterday, I became very ill with fever, chills, etc. I missed my office party, but I just couldn't go. The doctor agreed to see me this morning and told me I have bronchitis.

A bag full of drugs and two shots in the hiney (ouch!), and I'm feeling a bit better. As long as it can get me through Santa's visit tonight, I'll be fine.

It's been a soggy week, and there was a tornado watch today, but things have calmed down. Nancy's on her way home from visiting her mom, and I have an 18# ham in the fridge that Bernie cooked for me at the store. I'm ready!

Bronchitis is not fun at all. I had it for an entire month nearly 10 years ago. I really wish I would have taken some meds for it, but I didn't even go to a doctor. Good on you, Brad, for getting it checked out! I think you'll be fine to get through Santa's visit. It's a shame for timing. Something we all look forward to all year and you're hit with this?! Get well soon.

Yikes, I really hope you feel better very soon and respond to the medication.
It is hard when a loved one is in the hospital...doesn't feel complete when they aren't at the table to celebrate and it's hard to think of them alone in a hospital.
I hope that you have a blessed day tomorrow, feel better and that Nancy's mom is on the upswing as well.

the eggnog is made, the turkey is thawing, work is done and everyone is home.

It is pouring rain, a wind storm on the way by morning, not going to be nice.

Monica and her 3 month baby Piper are in the hospital with pneumonia, we were hopeful they would be out for Christmas, but baby not doing well. Please keep them in your prayers.

Watching the Grinch and when done putting on A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim.
