Christmas Countdown - 2014

:hello: My husband and I just returned from my parents place. Despite the pouring rain, we lit the annual luminaries and when we were heading home only three were still glowing. We came close to a green Christmas once, but this was truly unusual weather. I was wearing my raincoat, it was that mild. Tomorrow we'll head back over to see what Santa has delivered and exchange gifts.

I was hoping to hang in here until Santa's update tells me he's in my merry neck of the woods, but alas, Mr. O'Malley cat is pawing at me and begging for some cuddle time. I'm disappointed I couldn't find a carnival snake for O'Malley for Christmas. Hope he's happy his kitty grain free treats and a can of wet turkey food.

Watching the Andy Williams Christmas special - reminds me of the excitement of watching it when I was younger.

We need a little Christmas right this very minute ...

I think I might be breaking a rule by still being up. Kringle Radio said there are bedtime warnings in my area. Hopefully Santa manages to sneak around upstairs with me seeing the Big Guy!

It's about 11:10pm here in Maryland. Lisa has gone to bed, the kids are upstairs watching a movie in their TV room and I just got done watching It's a Wonderful Life down here in the Family room! I put A Christmas Story back on and thought I would check to see who is not asleep yet before Santa arrives...

I'm staying up so that I can be here when it becomes Christmas day~

It is pouring rain, a wind storm on the way by morning, not going to be nice.

Monica and her 3 month baby Piper are in the hospital with pneumonia, we were hopeful they would be out for Christmas, but baby not doing well. Please keep them in your prayers.

Watching the Grinch and when done putting on A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim.
